"I got my hair and makeup done at space salon and I was not happy. My hair was actually a good experience the lady who did my hair was super nice super sweet the only issue is that in every section she works with I get burned and the heat was way too close to my head and it was just painful but I wouldn’t complain too much cuz at the end of the results it turned out amazing better than I expected. My issue is with the makeup I left with. First I paid a lot of money while the makeup artist used makeup from a drugstore or makeup that is cheap. It was not worth the money at all. 2nd it did not look like the inspo at all it wasn’t even near the inspo she made it look so dewy and shiny which I did not like and it was not my shade at all I had to go home and fix it. 3rd she made my eyebrows double its size like wth? She made it so full and long and tall even tho my eyebrows were already full??? she was nice and sweet and all but it just was not worth the money at all"

"I had been debating a cut for a bit as I try to get to know my curls, and finally bit the bullet. I walked in on a Saturday and I got lucky that there was a stylist who was free. Christine was an absolute gem. I've never had anyone take a look at my hair before doing anything to it, like she did! I was super self-conscious because my hair really isn't in the best shape. But I knew the entire time she was just trying to understand what we were both working with and what I wanted out of it. I ended up feeling adventurous and got a good chunk of it off. The entire time, Christine gave me the dos and don'ts to get my hair back to healthy and where I want it to be. It's exactly what I needed and I'm starting to understand my hair's needs better than I ever have. I'll definitely be back after the holidays to get a "check up" for my hair and maybe go with some more adventurous angles. Quick, efficient, and very comfortable. The price is a bit more than I'd prefer to spend. But it was honestly the most cared for I felt in a salon seat, so well worth the money. Definitely recommend!"

"Forever grateful I found this Astoria Gem ! I had my hair colored by Adela and she was so careful through out the entire process ! You would never guess my hair was red before. She also did some Botox treatment on my hair that I would recommend everyone get. The salon is extremely clean and beautiful. The staff is lovely and the ambiance is just so chill. Love love love !!! I also tried their amika products and I will rate them 10/10 ! Phenomenal!!!!!!!!! I posted a picture of my before and after. The red was done in a other salon that destroyed my hair. The brunette is now my healthy thriving hair."
