Crabbae Kenilworth

"After seeing this spot on social media a few times, I decided to make a reservation and see if it was worth the hype. Walking in, the hostess quickly said a bunch of stuff that we could barely hear because it is kinda loud in there. The music level didn't bother me, but I missed most of what she said other than it's a 2 hour time limit. The waitress was very nice and patient, which is obviously a plus, as well as the chef bringing you your order to the table. The restaurant is small but uses its space well enough to fit a dj booth. Our table was clean as well as the benches. Now on to the food. It is BYOB, which i didn't know, but next time I'lll be prepared. The calamari appetizer was underwhelming and just barely warm. There is no real taste to it. Most likely a bagged frozen product from the local depot. We also had the crab egg rolls, which weren't bad but also not great. The entrees, however, came out HOT. The rasta pasta and the lobster stuffed chicken was on point! The chicken was not overdone, and the rice and pasta are both LOADED with flavor. I wish I could give this place a 4.5, but unfortunately I cannot but I'll be back for more, so I'd say it met expectations especially being a small low key spot in Kenilworth."

"The atmosphere was dope. The DJ was on point. We had reservations for 2:30. Got there alittle early (2:15) Was seated and it took about 25mins to place an order. Appetizers came out pretty fast. But waited for our main food for an hour! We was not feeling that. 2 different tables that were seated after us received their food first. The food was tasteful but not for the price. Food 7 out of 10. Service 6 out of 10. Atmosphere 10 out of 10."

"Beautiful and warm atmosphere for brunch. Staff were very professional, understanding, and entertaining/ engaging. The food was impeccable. Seasoned just right, hot and fresh. Even the to go food was delicious. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommended this restaurant."

"The environment was such a vibe. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food. I had the famous crab/lobster ramen and I’m not gonna say it was bad but it really lacked seasoning and flavor. I did however love the presentation. It’s also BYOB (for a fee) so no alcohol is served which was fine with me. Will be coming again to try the Rasta pasta or that salmon with fries because my family really enjoyed those dishes. Great music with karaoke and hookah. Just a pleasant vibe all together!"

"Food and music was great! A bit of a wait but it was fresh and worth it. Space was a bit small, it's BYOB, and I guess to keep temperature under control with there being cooking, the heat wasn't either on or up. Limited drink choices. There's street parking but that's scarce unless you get there early enough. Also, $50 reservation deposit that goes towards your bill. I think it's a bit much but like I said, it goes towards your bill. Overall cool time, just need small improvements."
