"I called in my order for pickup. They got my order wrong and my name wrong. I ordered a whole chicken and full order of beef ribs with rice, fries, and black beans. When I got there, my name was wrong and they made half a chicken and half beef ribs. I had to wait an extra 25 minutes on top of the original 35 minutes to get my correct whole chicken and 4 beef ribs with sides. I live a half a block away and when I got home the chicken was cold, burned, and dry. The beef was cold, dry, overcooked to well done when I ordered medium. The fries and Spanish potatoes were cold, browned, overcooked, and hard. It’s like they never change the dirty fryer oil. The only thing edible was the rice and black beans, although they were cold. These Brazilians take no pride in their product and don’t know anything about barbecue. They don’t seem to care. Save yourself the time and money and avoid this place at all costs. You will regret eating here and definitely ordering food for pickup. I have regretted every time I ordered from here. This place is trash."

"My guest and I had a nice lunch here at Backyard Bar & Grill. I had Bbq chicken and ribs with sides. She had Casino Crab. The food was great after waiting for a while because the waiter is fairly new. Other than that, it went well. He still got a tip. The window view is everything!! #People watching and talking while waiting on our food. Much later, there were others who came in to have a meeting while dining. Great setup for meetings with coworkers. I will come back again. Oh, I forgot to mention that the bar area is really nice. My guest had a strawberry something, not really sure... I had lemon/lime water. Really good!"
"Hands down one of my favorite Portuguese spots! Codfish bites appetizer is tasty and melts in your mouth! Love the shrimp in garlic sauce with rice and fries. I can't get enough!"
"5 stars for price/quality ratio. This is not a fancy sofisticated bbq place, but the food is good, the portions are huge and the price is right. This is not am American BBQ: no sweet sugary fat dressing. This is plain bbq with salt and herbs. Good fries, good rice."
