"The owner is not very welcoming. The website has one price listed but the restaurant has higher prices listed. The chicken taste burnt and like the oil was old. The greens were too dry. And the Mac and cheese had burnt pieces in it and wasn’t fresh. I’m disappointed I wasted 17 bucks on this."
"If you find yourself in Union with a grumbling tummy, you need to go here! You can't go wrong with this authentic soul food spot. The food is made fresh on the spot so it may take a little longer to get, but it's worth the wait. Anyone who says different doesn't know what good food is. I had fried chicken, collard greens, and mac and cheese with lemonade. For $25 I left with a full happy belly. The food tastes amazing! That was the BEST collard greens I've ever had. The fried chicken was crispy, tender, and exploding with flavor. It looks like a little hole in the wall from the outside, but don't let the cover fool you. What's inside will make you want to come back for more. Thanks to the staff for being so hospitable!"
"It was my first time there I had fried chicken, mac and cheese and candied yams and corn bread everything was delicious and the server was outstanding and he wowed me with his customer service skills. Highly recommend this establishment."

"A couple weeks ago, I met up with friends at the Soul Foos Factory located in Union, NJ. If you haven’t been yet, get there soon. The owner uses all of his mothers recipes and the food is cooked fresh and seasoned to perfection. We ordered the smothered Turkey wings, black eye peas, catfish, yams, cabbage & Mac n cheese. They also served a watermelon lemonade that was oweeee good! If you are interested in a private gathering, they also have a private area in the back that can be used for meetings or private parties. Check them out when you are in the area."
