"Van Goghs is truly a gem in Union Center hands down! I’ve always walked past it but finally decided to go there in June 2023. The food is excellent, the vibes are calm and relaxed making it a perfect environment to just grab a bite and relax and the customer service is immaculate. I wouldn’t change anything about it. Butttt I wish they would extend their menu! Except for that I definitely recommend this spot!"

"This cafe has potential but comes up short for me. Pros: The overall vibe is cozy casual cafe. There are mismatched chairs, and plush couches/seats, books, games. There are cozy corners to tuck into and larger tables where you can spread out a little more. The staff is super friendly and the desserts and drinks are tasty. Cons: The lighting for me is way too low...bordering on dark not cozy. The food though is very hit or miss and pricey. I really want to like it and have given it a chance (I've been here about 5 times) and any food (non dessert) ordered was bland or burnt unfortunately. The MAIN issue and the most unfortunate is that is smells really bad and it has every time I've gone in. Unfortunately I can't recommend because its hard to enjoy eating in a place that smells so bad. Maybe do a takeout/pickup order to at least give it a try."

"I was highly disappointed with my first experience at the establishment. I called in for a carrot cake slice to go. When I came in my mother and I found the place to be so cute that we decided to stay and try out try beverages and a small app. I informed the young lady behind the counter that I will have the carrot cake to go but we will stay to have coffee. Now another woman asked us if we are staying and I said yes. Another waitress served us the carrot cake slice and the lady behind the counter said to them it was to go. The lady who is the picture made nasty comment saying you said you were dining in and came back with the to go box. Yes it was a misunderstanding but there was no need for the annoyance and rudeness. I decided to go and just paid for the carrot cake slice. They lost a customer that day."

"Would definitely come again! Second we came we were greeted nicely and were seated promptly. Great enviornment to just relax and take some time to breathe. It's set up where it feels open and you have your privacy at the same time! Food was tasty and fresh, lattes were nice, I got the Turkish latte, it was sprinkled with pistachios and roses on top. Great flavors that I didn't even know existed. Highly recommend!"

"• truffle tots - minus the truffle oil because i’m not a big fan. the winner of this meal. the pesto aioli was such a tasty accompaniment and my friend who is not a saucy person found it delicious. • shrimp scampi pizza - shrimp was firm but not overcooked. could use more oomph to bring out the flavors. • bbq chicken pizza? - doesn’t taste bbq-y and falls on the sweeter side. i actually forgot if this was buffalo or bbq. anyways, this was pretty good and i preferred it over the shrimp scampi which i thought would be favored more. notes walking in you’re greeted with an intense smell that’s vintage and old, like a thrift store which lingers for a while until you get used to it. wish i took pictures of the interior because it’s undeniably eccentric. i love crust so i was pretty disappointed when the pizzas came out burned. overall, such a unique spot with okay food but the vibes are there."
