"Very friendly service. The staff patiently answered all of my questions with a smile. The food was delicious and served fast. I had the fish & grits and rum cake (to go). The waiter checked in often, particularly about food quality and if we had any needs. My only regret was only purchasing one piece of rum cake. I will be getting more next time."
"We were on vacation and starving after a massage but wanted food food. Searched and found this restaurant. Everything was fresh! Fish and chicken fried after we ordered so pipping hot! The portions… so much food! As a southerner my heart was happy! Even every single customer that came in to get to go orders was just as friendly! Very refreshing. I’m not a fan of super sweet cornbread. That would be my only “complaint” but I still ate it lol! We appreciate the ladies accommodating us by staying open a bit later as we were dining in. 10/10 would come back!"
"I just came to the reviews to see if they backed off with the salt, & according to the reviews they didn't. So I won't be returning at this point. The food is cooked correctly, it's just the overwhelming amount of salt not the flavor, if you can understand what I'm trying to say. I'm truly disappointed that I can't eat it again because of the salt, & my concern for my salt intake. I only use pink Himalayan salt in my house & that's only if needed, I had one small bottle crusher of that for like three years, get my drift ? & other than that I use M's dash & with other herbs & still have a flavorful meal. I love to support black owned businesses, but not at the cost of my health. So to each is own, because everyone has different taste buds. ♥️"
"This place is incredible! You must go if you want some delicious food! I had the fried whiting, macaroni and cheese, candied yams. Awesome! I'm sitting here eating right now. They are so nice and the decor is lovely with a nice atmosphere. It was definitely money well spent. I'll be back next week to try the shrimp and grits."
"Omg fist time here definitely will be back thank you so much nice place and friendly staff. I love banana pudding and it taste amazing I want a whole cake for my birthday thats how good it taste. Love it and try Mac and cheese really yummy hot and cheese. Make sure you stop by and show love you won’t be disappointed and might want to come everyday haha thank you!"
