Recent improvements include a completed reroute on the Arrowhead trail and the construction of ADA sidewalk access at Eastgate Park and Belmont Park playgrounds. "There is a pit toilet, a changing room, and a bike stand with tools. There is no water or cell service. Plenty of parking. Use Trailforks for trail maps. Some of the trails are tough. Great place to ride"
"Wonderful trails. Nice parking lot. There is a tool stand for your mountain bike and restroom facilities. No water source. No trash can. Please pack out your trash and be respectful of the neighbors. Let's take care of this wonderful spot!"
"Fun place to go ride bikes when I have newer riders in the group. I usually ride at Pandapas but have had issues with beginners getting intimidated there. Carvins is a bit more granular than Pandapas."
"Update: still an awesome place to ride. If you are a mountain biker Carvins Cove is a great place to be! This location is mainly for the lowers but you can still get to the top Via Hi-De-Ho. In Spring, Summer and Fall, you'll find me here almost every weekend."
"Much bigger parking lot than timberline and has great access to many trails straight from here or with a short ride down the road. Does have a primitive bathroom too. Best place to get to carvin's trails. Make sure to bring your annual pass or pay for a day pass at the kiosk. If there has been recent rain, head toward brushy. If it's been dry and you're looking for a chill ride, check out the lowers at the end of the road."
