"EDIT: I didn't want to remove my review entirely, but I did increase the star rating from 2 to 4. I had my situation resolved with a great degree of care and I appreciate that. ----- Original review: I would easily give 5/5 stars for the NP I see, Emily Frost. She is fantastic and I love working with her. I recently went through a traumatic life event & was trying to work with this clinic to find a therapist (since I already see someone here for medication reasons.) I requested to be placed on a waiting list & was told I would hear back - I waited two weeks. I finally called and was told that there was a mistake - I wasn't on the list. I spoke with the intake coordinator and got that fixed; I was told that I would receive further information by phone and text. Again, another two weeks. Nothing. Getting help for mental health is hard enough. I understand that actions slip through the cracks; but I feel a month waiting to see someone for help is more than patient. It's frustrating and demeaning. My advice? There are some great providers at this location; if you're focused on seeing someone here, then keep on top of the administration side of the clinic. You shouldn't have to, but it's the mistake that I should have corrected."

"My psychotherapist is great. The front office staff is rude and condescending. I understand customer service requires patience, but I don’t think they do. Also, if there are any smart comments to be made, maybe wait until the patient is off the phone!"

"I did not feel emotionally safe at this practice. It's ok for one of their therapists to fire me when she could not help me (said I needed a pain psychologist) but it's not ok for me to fire a therapist when I feel they aren't serving me (and their specialty is neurofeedback and not talk therapy). My therapist (Cheryl) would start breathing exercises without my consent and expect me to just join her. It was also an inappropriate therapy because I was cognitively impaired and in survival mode. She should know that neuroplastic healing works in stages. This therapy of asking me to look inward at that time was like trying to put a roof on a house that wasn't built. I also felt her judgement sometimes like when I couldn't remember what I did the day before. I realize therapists are people, but they should be more empathetic and less judgemental than most. She also made fun of Florida which is where I wanted to live at the time. Her attempts at positivity about my back - that it might get better in the way that her husband's back got better were un-nuanced and not adequate for my situation. I have idiopathic scoliosis. It can get better but it will always need management. Also, Donna (who is not there now, retired, but transferred from another center) tried prozac on me in post paxil withdrawal and I had a bad reaction, so she said she could not treat me as she wasn't my treating doctor (my provider was on maternity leave). She also told me that the symptoms I had were paxil withdrawal but then magically 3 months after the paxil withdrawal, the same symptoms were no longer withdrawal."

"I am so pleased with the care and experience I’ve had with Zoe. I reached out to other providers for years and never made the step to schedule appointments because I didn’t feel comfortable with any of the staff, especially the office folks. Zoe’s receptionists and front office team were so great from the first moment I reached out! I can’t say enough good things and how much of a difference it makes to have friendly people answering the phones and sitting at the front desk. I have not had any billing or scheduling issues. The providers here are compassionate and caring, and I feel very comfortable being candid with them. Couldn’t ask for a better team to receive care/treatment from."

"The first nurse practitioner turned her phone over during the last 10 minutes of our virtual appointment. I called to ask to switch to a different team member that had more experience in the area of psychiatry that I was and am still in need off. I was told that it had to be approved by the office manager. I never got a call back. I got a bill in the mail for the first and only “appointment”. This practice is not healthy or helpful in any way, shape or form."
