Dwell Vienna Metro Apartments

"I’ve been living here three years and ever since management changed everything has gone downhill. The leasing office is never open, literally never. You have to place a ticket with a central ticket processing team who will then relay your message and book a time for you to meet management for something as simple as a parking pass. What if I need the parking pass the same day? You can’t expect residents to cater to your employees, it’s ridiculous that I have to submit tickets for a parking pass like Im at work. Residents aren’t your employees and we shouldn’t be catering to when you’re employees are available. Most residents here have jobs and shouldn’t have to use PTO to speak to management. Not to mention the rent hike, its not COVID anymore. I will definitely leave this overpriced, overrated (due to previous great management) and ridiculously unaccommodating property at the end of my lease. Edit: Monique, Avaija and the ladies at the leasing office in general and maintenance staff make living here worth it despite the flaws corporate and the property itself may have."

"Very nice place to live. Beautifully decorated, clean, safe and cozy. Great apartments and civilized neighborhood. Private Amazon hub locker, a small gym and pool in addition to complimentary coffee are some of the features. My family and I have been happy here. I highly recommend it."

"We have been here for 6 months so far and have enjoyed our experience with the apartment, complex and management. We love the proximity to the metro, stores and highway! The gym and community center have been most useful amenities to us to get a quick workout or to host a group of friends in the community center. The security transition was bumpy but it was only a couple of weeks of transition for a much better system - the key fobs are compact and work great - especially with the addition of the app to let guests in remotely which the old system did not have. The garage parking is spacious & convenient! Overall, it’s been a fantastic community"

"I lived at Dwell for just shy of 10 years, through 3 different management companies. Overall Dwell was a great place to live. It is very safe, the building and grounds are always clean, and maintenance requests are handled promptly. I traveled extensively for work when I was living at Dwell and I felt very safe and secure leaving my car and apartment for weeks at a time when I was away. The management company at the time I moved out (August 2021) was wonderful. They were very responsive to requests and they even helped after I moved out with forwarding some mail that USPS had not automatically forwarded to my new address. I only had 3 maintenance incidents in the 10 years I lived there: 1) air conditioning broke in 2017 and took several months to fix (management was changing hands at this time so that caused a delay), 2) water heater burst in 2020 that caused damage to one corner of my living room (repairs complete within 4 days), 3) upstairs neighbor defrosted their fridge in 2021 and water leaked in to my kitchen (repairs completed the next day). Dwell is by far the nicest complex in its price bracket in Northern Virginia: location is great, amenities are great, and the grounds are kept immaculate. I now live outside of the US and I miss Dwell!"

"We looked at many apartments and townhouses near the Metro and Dwell is by far the best one for a few reasons. It's a fairly new building with and the apartments are built with solid construction - thick walls and doors, granite countertops, premium GE appliances, high ceilings, CAT5, coaxial, and electrical outlets anywhere you might need to install a tv or desktop pc. The community is also fairly small and very safe. But the real beauty of this place is the management and maintenance teams. Anokhi and Richie manage a seamless operation. If you have any problem whatsoever you just walk in to their very welcoming office. They'll make sure you leave with a smile on your face and they'll resolve any problem almost instantaneously with the help of a hardworking and detailed maintenance team and very attentive concierge."
