Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks

"Overall the hotel was great for a business trip, and I had no complaints whatsoever. The stage (that I dealt with were friendly) and helpful, my room was nice, and I could run across the street to the mall to grab a bit to eat; although I can't speak to the room costs as that was covered for me. However, if you are coming with a family, it's not a great hotel as it looks more designed for conferences; and I would agree wihe with other reviews saying that it isn't the easiest to get to (depending on what airport you're coming from)."

"Great location but may be a little hard to get to depending on which direction you're coming from. Nice check in, received upgrade to a slightly larger room. This is the first Marriott in a while that actually had the executive lounge open. It's a great benefit with the evening snack but even better was the breakfast. The rooms were decent and clean. TV was updated with some smart functionality and streaming. Seems to be having some issues with electronic key cards on your phone so don't count on that working when you get there. I ended up having to go back down after I got there since I figured I didn't need to stop at the desk. Go get a key card as you check in."

"This has truly been the best place I've ever stayed. The front desk are the greatest people I've dealt with. There was some confusion on our check in and they were super easy to work with. Kudos to the Marriott staff. Drinks and dinner at the bar.... As nother round of applause. Thank you!"

"This is an excellent hotel!! I'm having a hard time writing this review because every part of my experience was nothing less than satisfying. There is so much I can type about this place, but people can only read so much for so long. I intend on returning in the future to enjoy the downstairs beautiful and luxurious restaurant area and the scenery of the lobby and hallways. Kitchen staff, waiters and waitresses operate in the most excellent and professional manner. I was handled with respect, honor, dignity and consideration. I was also graced with the presence of a couple of college basketball coaches and their team. It was pretty exciting. They played Georgetown one of those nights. I recommend this hotel to anyone."

"I was blown away by the hospitality and professionalism of the staff at the Fairfax Marriott. I was over last weekend for a conference and it was a pleasure to stay here. The rooms were well kept, clean, with a subtle touch of dark tones. It was also well equipped with towels and all amenities needed. I was able to get some lunch at their restaurant and it was super delicious, so definitely try their turkey club sandwich. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!"
