"***UPDATED REVIEW*** +They don't allow pool floaties of any kind unless you're a toddler. +They say its because they have their own life jackets for you to use. +BUT... The life jackets only go up to a child's MEDIUM. -My son enjoys the pool -As a non swimming parent... there needs to be more shaded areas. -The sun is beaming down nonstop without any umbrellas. -I saw families sitting in the concessions area which shouldn't be allowed. -People who purchase food need 2 actually sit at the table 2 eat and not 2 stay sun free. -Hours are 1 to 6pm -Price is $3pp whether you swim or not. -CASH & CARD can be used 4 entry -ONLY CASH is accepted 4 concessions"

"My kids and their friend were attacked at this pool two separate times in one visit and the lifeguards did nothing. My wife went to the manager and the manager couldn’t care less. I told my wife not to take the kids to this pool again. Lifeguards don’t do their jobs and neither does management."

"I don't swim as often as I wish, but Miller Park Pool hits the Sweet Spot for me. With two Kiddie Pools, the wee ones have a safe area to learn and play. Ranging in depth from 2½ Feet to 10+Feet deep, there is plenty of room to go from serious diving(2 Diving Boards) all the way down to an excellent Marco Polo area. There is a Water Slide that is only available for a set time. There is a small variety of chairs and tables. I haven't tried the Snack Bar yet. The Bathroom/Changing Area/Showers are serviceable. The Adult Swim Time is perfect for when moms/dads want to swim unencumbered. Overall: Excellent!"

"I drive all the way from Roanoke to visit this pool. It has a fun slide, a high dive, a great baby pool with a fountain, and all summer they give out free school lunches to kids under 18. It's a great place to spend a fun summer day."

"Great pool! They have diving boards, a slide, picnic tables, a toddler pool, and some grassy areas if you want to bring your own chairs or umbrella. My biggest issue is how BUSY it is. You MUST be diligent about where your children are because it can be really hectic. The lifeguards are there to try and keep the chaos down and they always seem to be fully staffed which is nice. But the sheer amount of people can be overwhelming (at least for me, who is use to a river spot by ourselves!). The price is really good too, I think it was 3 dollars to get in."
