"Henrico County mental health services is a sad, broken joke. Even if you can convince EMS/law enforcement to transport an unwilling family member for mental health evaluation the end results are usually a waste of time. Once they find a bed for the individual, somewhere in the state, the hospital starts prescribing antidepressants that can’t be refilled unless you can find a psychiatrist who will approve the prescription. Here comes the fun part. There are few if any psychiatrists in the Richmond area who will take on a new patient. Back to square one."

"I live next door, and these people seem to have taken over the Woodman West Apts. They need to have the funding pulled just for the damage they have done to W.West Apts in the pass year of 2022. Most of them I believe don't have a degree in Mental Health, and I seen and heard how they don't treat the Mental ill but enable them and encourage them into even worst behavior than before they showed up at Woodman West Apts."

"I had and have had a terrible experience dealing with these people. Time after time I returned for treatment and was made by these people to feel like my case was not worth looking further into in a proper way. I received no suggestions for alternative places to get service from and the staff was extremely unfriendly and rude. I highly recommend if you have a loved one not to take them for care here if they are dealing with a mental illness. They repeatedly mess up the medications and quell you into a program where they advise your family to regularly TDO you by calling the police on you when you are not medication compliant among other thing. The people that work here are rude, sadistic, sick with love for belittling people and hungry to control people with severe mental illnesses if you ever come across Dr. Mcdaniels or anyone from the act team or someone named Christie I highly recommend you keep your distance. The people that work in the mental health services are nothing but trouble. Warning; Don't go to Henrico Mental Health for services."

"Took my son there 2 times for help at 2 separate incident in his life. They were useless unless he was suicidal. The second time he went there just to have someone to talk to about his issues and they gave him a Post-it note that says Walmart hires felons. Number one he’s not a felon never been arrested instead of him getting to talk to anybody past the intake person that’s what they decide to give him to solve his problem. Great job they should be proud!"

"I wish I could give them negative stars. I missed my psychiatrist appointment so they closed my case. Now I can't get my effexor or seroquel. I have been sick and throwing up ever since. They shouldnt be aloud to make someone not be able to get their medications. They are terrible. Especially the East end location."
