"I am giving this place one star because giving it zero stars is not an option. I wasn’t going to post this review because I have loved my counselor at this practice - I found out today she is leaving so I am now ready to share my experience. The office manager at this practice (I do not remember her name but she’s the most unprofessional woman I have ever met so she will not be hard to miss) treated me with the most disrespect I have ever been treated with from anyone, at any place. The issue was that an appointment was made with the psychiatrist in their office, supposedly for me. I have no recollection of making this appointment. I have no email confirmation or receipts of this appointment. I have no memory of making the appointment. However I was called 15 minutes after I did not arrive for the appointment that I didn’t make and I was told I would be charge $175 no show fee. I kindly, gently, and directly said that I did not make this appointment and if someone could confirm for me that I did make it I would pay it. They were unable to provide me with any verification other than the (unprofessional) office manager said she spoke to me herself. Obviously for any doctors office on earth - it is not enough to just charge someone $175 from a memory you have. This is why offices document everything. I was trying to have a conversation with this woman about the situation and she said I was “yelling” at her and that I was “being aggressive” with her. However I can assure you I was not doing anything other than trying to de-escalate the situation that she continued to ramp up my speaking over the top of me and interrupting me. Ultimately she hung up on me. I called back right away and left a voicemail explaining the situation, calmly. No response. Over the course of the next week - I call three more times - no one ever returns my call. So I showed up at the practice. I calmly explained the situation. I never raised my voice. The office manager whispered about me behind her back saying hateful things about me. I could hear everything she said. She then proceeded to argue with me, escalate the situation, and tell me that she “had a record somewhere of the appointment.” When I mentioned the fact that she had hung up on me - she originally said she didn’t do it. When I pressed her on it and told her I could prove with my iPhone that she had hung up on me - she backed off and said she had to hang up on me because I was yelling at her. Which is a joke because she was the one yelling at me! I wish I had a recording of this whole situation and every interaction so I could prove how absolutely insane this woman is. I was asked to leave because they said I was causing a disturbance. For context - I had a baby with me. I was not yelling or escalating. I wouldn’t do that with a child present. The office waved the fee. I assume because in a court of law there is absolutely no proof that this woman wasn’t lying. And clearly she’s capable of being dishonest because she lied to myself and the coworkers around her that she didn’t hang up on me. I was called by someone (from a personal cell phone number?) and told not to come back to the practice. That they would waive the fee but I was not welcome there anymore. Which is INSANE because this is supposed to be a place where people can go for mental health treatment. People struggling with their mental well being deserve EXTRA grace. EXTRA patience. EXTRA understanding. But you will not find that here. I’ve reported this place to the Better Business Bureau for fraud. As a practitioners office they should be at the VERY LEAST keeping a record on a computer with time stamps of the appointments that they make. Who knows how many people this woman is stealing money from by saying appointments were made that weren’t made. They have credit cards on file - I’m sure she’s just charging people who won’t notice. I’ve never been treated like this by anyone, ever. That woman should be fired. Do NOT go to this practice. Go somewhere they practice kindness."

"Thank you for never informing or letting my wife know that y'all don't take insurance. That's something supposed to be informed right? Sorry, rhetorical question."

"Was told I would be responsible for an $80 late cancellation fee because although I cancelled more than 48 hours in advance, my immediate NO response to a reminder text did not qualify as advance notice because it was sent on a Saturday. I was told that this practice was due to the difficulty filling cancellations for Monday appointments but simultaneously told I could not come to my appointment because it was filled. Ila repeatedly and condescendingly reminded me that reminder texts are simply a courtesy with no regard for the circumstances associated with mental illness that may make individuals reliant on such "courtesies." Although I understand the need for cancellation policies I do not understand any policy which deems 48+ hours notice a late cancellation worthy of an $80 fee. This practice is predatory."
