AFC Urgent Care Short Pump

"AFC was great, I made an appointment online for a yearly physical and blood work since it’s so hard to get into my PCP. I made an appointment online and uploaded my insurance card and license, and they had plenty of open slots. I came in and everyone was super helpful and nice and the Ellen the NP I met was so nice and thoroughly listened to me and my concerns, and was able to send off my much needed prescriptions and blood work was easy and fast. Thank you guys!!"

"My daughter came down with a nasty cold and had been battling a fever for nearly three days. At her peak, I had gone to three other urgent cares who would not accept walk-ins and were booked out through the day, patient first had people standing in the waiting room - not even one available parking space in the parking lot. I had called AFC asking if they would be able to see us when the receptionist said they were booked throughout the day as well. I felt defeated and frustrated and she did everything to try and help me come up with solutions. She asked me a few follow up questions about my daughter and she ended up telling us to come in regardless of being completely booked and that they would squeeze her in but we may have to wait a while. That’s okay, I showed up. As soon as I came in, she confirmed it was me who she had spoken with over the phone, explained there had JUST been a cancellation and they got us in nearly immediately after arriving. Call it luck but between the receptionist and the nurse practitioner who saw her in the exam room, they had incredible bedside manner and were extremely caring, empathetic and compassionate. Would definitely recommend."

"This was the most amazing experience I have ever had at any medical facility! I came in crying in severe pain unable to walk. They came out with a wheelchair to get me! Helped me check in and once back made sure I was more than comfortable. Provided a blanket and pillow for comfort! They were so professional and went out of their way to help me. Also the facility was super clean! I could rave for hours! Thank you to everyone there helping me in my most vulnerable moments!"

"I had to take a drug test as part of my employment screening requirements and the man that conducted the test was very thorough and kind. He allowed me to choose a cup. I didn't understand why he couldn't just give me a cup, lol, and he explained to me some history behind that which I found interesting. The lady at the front desk was a bit sassy at first, but then became more gentle after a few minutes. I wish they had posted somewhere on their website that they don't do drug tests after 5PM because I was in at 7PM the day before. The lady at the front desk who explained that to me the day before at 7PM was very sweet, actually. Overall it was a pleasant experience. There wasn't much of a wait at all."

"I came to do a drug test today for employment. I waited and waited for a receptionist. Finally, a person helped (not really) I told her i was there to do a drug test. "Well you are going to need to come back tomorrow. We stop doing drug test at 6pm". There's no sign on the door or the document from the employer. I drove 45 min for me not ro get a drug test and get a rude person. I asked for the main number and I was told that they were privetly own. Oh, and I was there at 7:13pm and waited almost 10 min to get no service! What a joke!!!"
