Inn at Brierley Hill

"We stayed at Brierly Inn last November, 2023 for our 25th anniversary. It was very delightful! Our host, Julie was wonderful! The inn was spotless, the view was spectacular, and the ambiance was romantic. We enjoyed our breakfast, while listening to Josh Groban. The food was delicious! We can't wait to return! Top notch!!"

"We stayed here in Feb 2022 and it was wonderful. We attempted to come back for 2024 but ran into a customer service problem with the new owners. We received an email Nov 24,2023 stating there was new ownership and to call to update our card on file. No where in the email did it say they were charging the balance due for preexisting reservations. Unless associated with a busy weekend for the college, the previous owners policy was balance due 14-days before check in. The woman I spoke to said they were going to charge my card. I stopped her because we are literally closing on a house next week and didn't budget to have this come out right now. She argued with me about the previous owners policy and stated she didn't understand why I wasn't already charged when I have it in an email what the policy wass and we were past guests. I told her their email didn't state anything about the balance being due for our reservation and I wanted to cancel. She said I wouldn't get money back because the previous owner transferred my deposit as a Gift Card when we rescheduled due a death in my family. I have all the emails showing this trail of events. I again stated that their email didn't say the deposit was due and who gives people 1-week notice on that during the holidays. This woman is wretched and I can't imagine what's going to happen to this place."

"Brierley Hill is our GO-TO B&B in Lexington. I schedule my visits to VMI around their availability. I won't go anywhere else. Barb and Vokkel are the best. Very accommodating, warm and make you feel like family. I've recommended them to others who have stayed and they have the same reaction. Joe Barra"

"This was an anniversary getaway. Had never been to the area or the Brierley before. Definitely will go back again! By far the nicest, friendliest, cleanest, most comfortable place we've stayed! Barbara and Volker take care of any needs you have or thought you needed! So many nice touches, hot tub, fire pit, excellent 3 course breakfast using several family recipes, the accommodations are top of the line. And then, having the mountains right in front of you just takes it to another level! We highly recommend the Brierley for any getaway vacation you're looking for. The only negative was that we didn't stay long enough!!!!"

"We had a lovely time at Brierley Hill! The breakfast was delicious, and much attention is paid to little things that make an experience good - for instance, one day there was too much wind on the side porch for breakfast, and the other tables were taken. The proprietors then carried our side table over to the sunny side of the porch! Over and above, for sure!"
