We had dinner with Lorrie who truly embodied the place with her spirit. This was the best getaway my husband and I have had in years. Highly recommend. "The NICEST people! The room was cozy and comfortable, the scenery was amazing, and the staff were so helpful and kind. One caveat: For anyone with mobility issues, the Inn is not very accessible. There’s no elevator, so if you can’t do stairs, make sure to request a room on the main floor. That said, the staff went out of their way to assist my mom so that she’d have a comfortable stay."
"I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Off the beaten path a bit, but not too far from Lexington downtown. Rooms are roomy, most with very private balcony and hot tub. Considering the room rate includes a great breakfast, wine and cheese happy hour , and 3 course dinner it is a great deal. Staff could not be friendlier. Will definitely stay here again when in the area."
"My wife and I had our wedding at House Mountain Inn last weekend. As anyone who visits the property will see, it was the beauty of the location that convinced us that it was the place for us. Of course, many other considerations go into that decision as well though. Pricing wise, House Mountain was eminently reasonable in every way, which was even more amazing when considering the quality of the food and service they provide. So many of our guests raved about the food served to them all weekend. Also, including a day-of planner who knows the property and has handled hundreds of weddings there is extremely helpful. We saw all of the work and effort that went into making our wedding weekend (we had our rehearsal dinner there as well) perfect. Carrie was our primary planner, but Jamie was able to help out as needed as well. We cannot say enough good things about the property, location and staff at House Mountain. We want to send a huge thank you especially to Carrie for all of her hard work, but really to all of the House Mountain staff!"
