Super 8 by Wyndham Bedford

"We had a wedding in Bedford so this was quite convenient and the price was right. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. My only complaint was that the hall smelled of cigarettes. There were 4 rooms at the end of the other wing that were smoking and they smelled up that whole wing to the point where it was impossible to stay in a non-smoking room in that wing. The smell did come down the other wing, but it was only once you stepped outside the room. This was on the first floor. Not sure about the other floor."

"The service needs alot of work i dont know ladies name however I was told over the cell price of 1 bedroom king how much and then when I get there was told price of room plus if have to pay with card and a $200 deposit along with they didn't have a room ready and there wasn't anybody there that day along with the entire wkend. I went across the road to days inn more hospitality nicer people at the service desk. So end result I will never stay at a motel 8."

"I had to come into town for my brother-in-laws funeral. Extended my stay to work on my sister's house. The hospitality and kindness from the entire day and evening staff was fantastic. This was my second or third time staying at this location in the past 8 years. Yes, the walls are paper thin, you will here your neighbors if they are loud. The satellite TV goes in and out on certain channels. I was on the main floor, but they told me over the phone that they do not have an elevator to the second floor. I am a non-smoker and asked for a non-smoking room. When leaving the lobby to the hallway, you can smell cigarette smoke. So it does stink in the halls. I did have to lock my window because it wasn't locked... This hotel has a great location and next door to the State Police. Always will stay here while traveling to Bedford. Thanks for a great stay."

"For a 2-star hotel, this one is pretty good. The bed was clean, comfortable. The staff was pleasant enough. The room was musty smelling. There did not appear to be a vent in the bathroom, so that could explain the mustiness. (That's my theory, because the hallway smelled fine and usually that's where my nose detects odors first.) The carpet was not clean. It needed a good shampooing, but it didn't appear to have been vacuumed very well. That didn't really bother me because I don't walk around barefoot in a hotel room anyway. My son noticed some dirty spots in the bathroom. They have not been detailing the place, but the important parts, bathroom, commode, sink were clean. The have coffee, waffles, fruit and few prepackaged items for breakfast. For two queen beds, non-smoking on a weekend, the room rate was $81. For that price, I would stay here again."

"Two stars for service because of the greeting at the front desk. When I asked if there was a room available, the lady behind the counter seemed inconvenienced. She didn't say a word. She just leaned forward out of her chair like it was the last thing she wanted to do. Room was clean except the carpet. The carpet was sticky. Bed was great. A/C was great. One light bulb was shot. Bathroom was great. Breakfast was great. Stairwell was stinky. Yes, we would stay there again."
