"I had a Mammogram scheduled for 4:15 on January 31, 2024. I did arrive late after driving almost an hour (over 50 miles) and through all of the highway construction going into Suffolk. They asked if I would reschedule and I said no because I had a CT scan done there in November and I was there 30 minutes ahead of my appointment and still waited 1 hr and 30 minutes before taking a 20 minute test. No one apologized. No one gave any reason for the delay and they took another person with a higher number and a later appointment in before me because her companion said something about the long wait. When I mentioned that yesterday, I was told that they are two different departments. My thoughts are they are all under Imaging and they are all housed at Sentara Obici Hospital. I asked where the policy was posted when a person is so many minutes late that they have to reschedule. There is none. I am pretty sure I was the last appointment for the day and I could have been seen and they could have gotten off work on time too. I preregistered online so that was already done. I had two other test scheduled with them during the month of February and I told them to cancel them all. It will be a while before I patronize this establishment again. My time is not valuable to them, but their time is invaluable. Other medical establishments perform the same tests/procedures. I have been going to them faithfully because I wanted all of my tests at one location, but I am so over that. I spoke with someone who suppose to get a Patient Advocate to call me. I have not received that call yet and what are they going to do or say to me to fix yesterday's situation. What they can do is to make their staff more concerned about patient care. How long does a mammogram take to complete? I have had a few issues with Obici in the past but these two did it. And yes, I was late, but when are they on time?"

"Be aware of Conrad, protect your elders & loved ones. The nightshift nurses need to party a little less during the night. A manager during the nightshift should be mandatory. And training the nurses to bring water when it’s asked for would be greatly appreciated, ya know since it’s supposed to be a hospital."

"I had a recent visit to Obici for an ultra sound. Angela working at registration was most friendly and engaging, Missy the technician was very thorough, friendly and took time to explain exactly what to expect. As a business owner, I'm in tune to how employees serve their clients or patients and these two ladies get a 5 star review. Keep up the great service ladies!"

"This hospital saved my mom’s life. No exaggeration. She’s currently in intensive care recovering from septic shock. She was unconscious with her organs quickly failing. I drove from Mass to get here and upon walking in the hospital I didn’t know if she would make it. I cried the whole way to the ICU. The nurses I spoke to were incredible.. compassionate, informative, and supportive. After a week of unconsciousness, she opened her eyes and smiled at me. The next day when I told her I was going downstairs to eat, she nodded. Prayers answered. I would’ve wrote this anyway but I felt more obliged due to the woman that served me my food in the cafeteria. She worked 12 hours that day, and she was so gracious and so polite I can’t help but remember how our brief interaction helped my spirits. Hopefully she gets to see this. Thank you, all of you!"
