"I recently went here to get labs done. I had no issues with the front desk whatsoever but I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes until I was called to get my labs done. When the nurse called me to the back, she put an individual before me that arrived 1hr after I was already waiting and she purposely made me wait for whatever reason, how can you put someone in front of somebody that was there first? There is no order here whatsoever, the nurse name is JACKIE. She is very rude and disrespectful. Upon calling me back to the lab, she did not speak or greet me, the only reason I knew her name was because I read her name tag. She was so rough drawing my blood she forced the needle in my arm I am still in pain my arm is swollen. Such a disgusting person, if you don’t like your job, stay at home!!!"

"Has a mammogram on 8/21/23 Wanted to make it known that Richard Anderson -Radiologist (MD) has terrible bedside manners. I had used a company called HER SCAN who has a 4.9 star google review on 2,884 reviews, subsequently they also have 4.9 with 978 reviews on another platform. They have been in business 10 years and set up clinics for people experiencing breast issues to receive an ultrasound for $285. With insurance so expensive (and yes I have health insurance) I opted to go that route to even see if there was anything worth looking into before spending $1,000 on a mammogram at a big clinic like Sentara. The ultrasound was read by a BOARD CERTIFIED RADIOLOGIST same as Mr Anderson. Mr Anderson came into the room and was not knowledgeable of HERSCAN and instead of being open minded or doing any research basically told me I am an idiot and wasted my money going to them.... continued on to tell me that I can go again in the future if I think that makes me happy but seems like a hoax and the radiologist has no credibility. I left feeling like no matter what the findings were today he wouldn't have given anyone the satisfaction of making an determination that would have aligned with what the ultrasound I JUST HAD determined out of pure spite and ignorance. I would highly suggest that Mr Anderson look up someone and the company before he makes assumptions and shoos the patient along like trash. Will never ever come back here once I have to do annual exams at 40. God forbid we advocate for ourselves and do what works best financially for us. Guess not everyone's pockets are as deep as the radiologists who clearly doesn't value his careers work."

"They tried charging me 3k when I had good insurance for an ultrasound and X-ray. When I was in the ultrasound the head manager came in and asked the technician how many so far today, and then she seemed nervous and rushed things. What type of person comes in during procedure and asks for a head count???That place is a money maker for sentara and if you value your life, go elsewhere."

"I was worried considering the sheer amount of negative reviews. But my experience was excellent. I had an MRI enterology and the team was great and amazing bedside manner. Kenny and the other female tech (I forgot her name) were so kind. The MRI machine is not any larger or longer than normal. They also give you headphones. Make sure your appointment is early in the morning so you can beat the wait, because it gets packed quickly."
