"This museum experience was incredible! Loads of well preserved artifacts and interactive displays! The director (Gary) and the gentleman at the front desk (whose name escapes me) we're very welcoming and seemed quite knowledgeable about the establishment and it's content. The exhibits told a variety of perspectives and (as museums ought to be) were mostly unswayed by modern politics. I especially enjoyed the exhibit upstairs about paper money's importance before, during, and after the war. To top all of that off admission was FREE for all K-12 students and children under 6! Would definitely visit again!"
"Awesome museum. I learned a lot, the 2 guys at the reception were helpful and nice, the gift shop is awesome, the video on the theater is second to non. Feels 3D. Many lil twists that you won't find in normal museums. A lot of info to read as well. I would recommend."
"Nice museum. A little pricey for a small place with really exhibits. The staff is pleasant. The introductory movie was pretty cool. It’s in a cool area for walking. I’m not sure I’d go again, but I don’t recommend against going."
"What a beautiful museum and grounds! I absolutely love learning about our history and there is a plethora of it here. I was disappointed that the NPS office and visitor center was closed but the museum is fully operational at this time. Parking is $3.00. I Highly recommend making the stop and checking out the surrounding area as well!"
