"I've used Leslie's for years, but I think after today that's ended. The Battlefield Blvd store has the worst customer service I've ever had. I'll start with I went into Greenbrier store on Saturday to purchase a metal remover kit, the nice gentleman there told they were out but looked it up on the computer and told me all the other stores had them and that's not a surprise because Greenbrier never has what I need in stock. I always have to go to the Battlefield store. He offered to call but said they probably won't answer the phone they never answer the phone at Battlefield and verify before I drove all the way out there and they did. I purchased the kit and used I realized on Monday afternoon that needed another kit so I tried to call and no one answered the phone, this is so frustrating they won't answer the phone and all the other stores know this, why doesn't the corporate office do something about them refusing to answer the phone and honestly they're no where near as busy as the other stores. Anyway when I get there the older woman working was very rude and acted like she didn't want to help me. I asked for the kit and she told they didn't have any, she didn't bother to suggest looking on the computer to see what other stores did have them or anything to help me, so I asked her if she would check for and clearly that offended her and promptly told me she was helping another gentleman in front of me which I acknowledged that was fine I would wait and then she began to tell me that the store has not had these kits for several months. By this time I'm really over her rudeness to me and I told her that was a lie because I just bought one on Saturday and then she got so rude I just left the store and will never return. Leslie's needs to know that all the pool supply's they sell can just as easily be purchased on amazon and delivered to the customers door and eliminate the driving around from one Leslie's store to the next and having to tolerate all the rudeness. There's too many other places to buy pool products. Don't waste your money with a business that doesn't care about their customers and employees that don't care about their jobs."

"We went to the Leslie's on 729 S Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23322 on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at5:30 to find a replacement pool pump for our Hayward pump. The employee explained that our single speed motor could not be replace. We indicated that a variable speed would be fine if the inlet and outlet ports matched our old pump making replumbing unnecessary. Without taking any measurements he said in a very arrogant tone that no one makes such a pump. Our impression was that he just did not want to be bothered. After leaving Leslie's we drove less than one mile to Aqua Leisure and walked out with the exact pump we wanted. A horrible experience, Dr. William H. Crouch"

"Absolutely the worst reception ever! The big tall guy with the long beard was less than friendly and was not helpful what so ever. He was stoic and unwelcoming. Needless to say due to his demeanor, we didn’t stay long enough to purchase anything. I definitely would not recommend this place. There are plenty of other pool stores to choose from."
