"This was my favorite BJs store but I believe I just met the nastiest manager I have ever encountered in my 20+ yrs of shopping here. First, I overheard her while working at service desk (brunette bob hair style), making underhanded comments about being too nice to her cashiers. The cashiers were obviously used to her catiness because they both looked in her direction and quickly disregarded her comment and continued on their tasks unfazed. Then I shopped for awhile, as I was leaving after purchasing new cool stuff, she had moved to the exit door checking customers out. When my turn came, she looked at my receipt then pulled through my cart as I lifted the box of snacks so she could see everything easily. The mgrs looks me coldly and says, "I am glad the number of items in your cart match the receipt". I am confused by her comment so I ask, "why is that?", she says, "because finding items that were not scanned in error can be difficult." I said to myself, okay that's why your employees think so little of your leadership, you are evil spirited for no reason. Calling corporate tomorrow! Wish I had taped her snide remark. Anyway, the two stars are because the star cannot help who represents it."
"BJs is a great store. Lots of good stuff to buy. My wife and I were particularly impressed and thankful for the wonderful cake we had decorated for us on the spot. Fantastic! Thank you. Good produce, lots of meat options, nice bakery, with a lot of other food, clothing, and other items. The only negative was the gas station. Good price for fuel but very, very slow gas pumps. I left after only getting $20 in fuel because time is as valuable as money."
