"Always excellent & great effort. They really have gone through hoops to make all of my repairs. Good shoes are very expensive. It’s so great to have people that can keep them looking great for the distance. They even called me to remind me of boots never picked up from 2 years ago!!"
"I purchased a belt that was too large for me. So I went to Halls to get additional holes put in the belt. I wanted 5 additional holes put in the belt. I asked the woman behind the counter, if I could wait. She screamed at the top of her lungs that she could not stop her work to help me. I did not want her to stop her work, but let me wait until she found time. Also, if she could not find time that day, give me another day. The main problem was that she was so crabby and did not try to look for a solution. I drove about a 20 mile round trip to get there. But, she had the crabbiest demeanor that I have seen in a generation. It did not matter to her that I am over 80 years, that i walk with a cane or that i traveled a good distance to get there. This lady belongs in the stone age."
"I’ve been going here for 15+ years, and I have always been 100% satisfied with their work. I’ve taken favorite pairs of shoes and a purse there, thinking they would turn me away because nothing could be done to get a few more years out of them, but they haven’t yet! Be sure to have cash on hand as that is, to my knowledge, the only form of payment they will accept."
"Underwhelmed. I was hoping to have my shoes restored but what I got was a heavily/sloppy glued and uneven sole that hasn’t been properly shaped now making the shoes unwearable. I will now have to spend more money to get a new pair or take to another shop."
