"As a recent former employee, I can inform you the director is poor at their job. They do not communicate honestly and professionally with families and staff. There was a school board letter written after blatant miscommunication with the director, but the school board leader did nothing to prevent the issues from continuing to occur: They've lied to parents about incidents to save face The entire building is a fire safety hazard/risk as the hallways are a mess They've also lied to licensing staff during their virtual visits Many employees remain on their phones all day and do not monitor the children properly Many of the teachers are fantastic, but you can only do so much when it's poorly managed."

"What a relief is to leave my beautiful child in doting care of the wonderful people at RLS! The whole school is like a little family -- everyone knows everyone else, kids play together and learn together. The classes are small -- from 4 to 10 students at the most -- so every child gets a lot of individualized attention. The best part about the RLS is their teachers and staff. During our initial visit to the school, it took my then-2-year-old just a moment or so to feel the warmth of the lady who was to be her teacher and did not want to leave! She has since changed her teachers twice, as she grew (she is now 5), and loved each teacher with passion! This year, after the first class with the new teacher, she wanted to go home with her, and cried when I told her she couldn't. Now, that's awesome! My wife and I researched all the day cares and schools in the area. We have many friends with kids in other schools, and we share stories. However, we have not found or heard of a school which is as personal and caring as RLS. Oh, and not to mention about half the price of the other places, with nice discounts for multiple kids! Neither my wife nor I are Lutheran, but were accepted by the teachers and the staff at RLS, and found a home for our child there. I recommend the school without any reservations!"

"Caring community + convenient and flexible hours + small class sizes + great academics = we love RLS Teachers and staff are caring, and their loving attitude permeates into the behaviour of their students. All children know each other by name and recognize who parents each child. The teachers and staff at RLS are supportive not only of their students but also of their families. My family underwent some emotional hardship in the recent past, and the pouring affection and attention were very helpful. You do not have to be Lutheran or even religious to appreciate this place. My child arrived there not speaking English, not potty-trained, and has truly blossomed in this school, academically, emotionally, and socially. Small class sizes translate into academics tailored to individual student needs. Great, spacious and well lit facilities. An environment conducive to learning and growing Wholeheartedly recommend it."
