Crystal Spring Grocery Co. is a unique institution located at 2205 Crystal Spring Avenue Southwest in Roanoke, Virginia, United States. Our menus change daily to ensure the freshest seasonal ingredients are used in our dishes, which you can view on our website. Lunch is served Monday through Saturday from 11am to 3pm, and brunch is available on Sundays from 11am to 2pm. You can visit our counter or order online for pickup.
At CSG, you can find a selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, and sides available for grab-and-go. We also offer unique gifts like tote bags, hats, and other items with the CSG logo. If you're planning a private event, we can host in-house events for groups ranging from ten to 30 people. Let us take care of the details to make your event unforgettable.
For office luncheons, backyard events, or cocktail parties, we have handcrafted party platters and boxed lunch options to suit every need. Please provide at least 72 hours notice for all orders, with some exceptions for in-house items. Our institution is located in the former Tinnell's finer foods, where generations of Roanokers have found gourmet food, wine, local specialties, and more.
Our kitchen is managed by Chef Matt Lintz, formerly of Local Roots, and our wine, beer, and grocery items are hand-selected by Devon Steiner, formerly of River and Rail restaurant. We strive to make each visit to CSG memorable and provide a personal connection to our customers. Quinn was an event coordinator extraordinaire from event planning to execution! Rave reviews from attendees on the food and service - which was chosen based on hearts desire from the wonderful foodie lunch menu - so yummy! "This is such a pleasant little jewel for the Crystal Spring area. Unique grocery items, a good selection of wine with wine tastings, my favorite ice cream sandwiches (Nightingale), and the best lunch/ brunch menu around! I love the sweet potato and chicken sandwiches! They also have daily sandwich specials and delicious brunch specials on Sundays!"
"What a find! Everything was imaginative and absolutely delicious! Their Griddled Cheese sandwich was oozing with cheese, the bread perfectly grilled and with just the perfect amount of whole grained mustard. The Double Patty Melt was served on a brioche bun, with the usual toppings, except they add smoked onions! Amazing! I had to try the Blackened Sweet Potato Sandwich! Intriguing, right? It was incredibly tasty...rye bread, sweet potatoes, crispy onions, goat cheese and shredded cabbage! So delicious! Good coffee and nicely seasoned french fries...they were delicious, but a tad too salty for my taste. If we lived in the area, I would lunch here frequently. The staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient."
