"Got exactly what I came for and left with a better result. Michelle Prescott is definitely the best I've seen. Prior to my appointment she had a very challenging experience where a deaf child with autism was very irritable and over stimulated. Ultimately this resulted in the child's defiance over the situation. Michelle was gentle and understanding. She didn't get frustrated or impatient. It didn't take long for her to realize that this haircut was bleeding into her next appointment, my appointment. But her approach to the situation was influential and called for my patience and understanding as well. She offered to reschedule with the parents, stating that from her experience, children with autism become over stimulated and don't want to be touched or approached. There is also the challenge of his deafness because he also does not talk or use sign language. The hearing device further stimulates him and makes him more irritable. This makes cutting hair a risk because the scissors are very sharp. The parents pressed for the service and Michelle did get it done. I felt for the kid and Michelle because the situation was... messed up. I have two children with autism and it's not worth their misery to get a haircut. It's just hair. As for Michelle, running over appointment times can probably cut (pun intended) into her performance review as a worker. It also puts her into a high stress environment over hair. She had to be very precise or risk cutting herself or the child. Needless to say, Michelle apologized to me although it wasn't needed, and we got everything done. I pulled several pictures from Pintrest for my style haircut and she said "No problem" and man did she deliver. It was like she didn't just get done with something difficult prior to getting my cut started. In any case, I hope another lucrative company picks her up and pays her double. I know Hair Cuttery can't fathom professionalism of this caliber."

"My husband has had to go here a couple of times when his usual place is busy. The last three times they messed his hair up. Mind you he only goes in for a simple buzz cut. First time, the guy's clippers were dull so he kept practically beating him in the head with the clippers and it ended up coming out pretty uneven. Second time, his sideburns were completely uneven. Third time today (and will be the last) the front of his hair is completely uneven. I'm not a hair stylist by any means, but its a simple cut???"

"I had an appointment at 2:30pm, they didn't get me in 3:15 pm. I showed Ariel what I wanted and explained I had damage from previous over highlighting. She completely blonde the top of my brunette hair and it was damaged very badly. I asked for a trim of only dead ends and she took off a lot of length. I didn't get the layers or face framing I wanted. She was friendly, but the staff was unprofessional and didn't listen to what I really wanted."

"If you value your hair and money do NOT get your hair done here. I have spent almost the last year growing my hair back from a horrible job doing layers by one of the younger stylist. I went back the same day to get it fixed it was so choppy and had shelves it was a mess. One of the male stylist who is older helped blend the layers as much as possible and was really nice about it and tried his best and it wasn’t too horrible considering. So fast forward about 4 months I spent growing that out and decided to get the same guy who fixed it before cut it again and just add the layers and fix whatever is still messed up from before. Well he started off like he couldn’t understand what I was asking for and kept asking me specifics that I don’t really know since I’m not a trained stylist and I was hoping with his expertise (or so called) he would help shape it around my face which is what I asked and I even showed him pictures. At first he was gonna wash my hair and cut it wet. When I explained the history of my hair (the last terrible job) he changed his mind and decided to cut my hair dry. I have naturally really frizzy wavy thick kinda hair any normal stylist would dampen it. But he said he would cut some wash then come back and touch up more. So I was ok with it. He started aggressively chopping at the back. I explained I still need to be able to tie my hair back for work. He just kinda chopped around not really sectioning but since I thought he was gonna come back to cutting I didn’t think anything of it. After the cut he washed me then sat me back down patted my head with a towel and sent me on my way. Hair still dripping down my shirt. I was confused but I’m really not one to make a scene I just won’t come back there. So I went home blow dried it myself and then straightened it so I can better see the “layers” I literally cried he gave me some kinda old lady bowl cut that didn’t even have the layers even or connected. And I could barely get it in a half pony tail. Luckily I asked around and I found a girl I went to school with who does amazing hair at half the price and she saved me luckily. The kicker to all of this is the cost for all that they did was $36 starting. I paid $27 with the girl who saved me. It’s a long review but seriously you’ve been warned. Don’t do it."
