"Not a bad store. It’s a little run down, but it is a thrift store. Staff is friendly. Selection is OK. Prices are really on the high side. Some items were the same price as retail, but for used items. Some items are in new boxes but quite obviously used or a different item altogether. You might find a bargain here, but it’s definitely buyer beware."
"One of our favorite thrift stores in VA Beach Norfolk area. They have a number of stores in the tidewater area. CHKD seem to always have a good inventory and overall prices seem competitive with the other thrift stores in the same nearby area. They have discount days and the stores all have friendly staff."
"Prices were...high. there was not much to look at. I DID luck out and found a bookshelf I wanted from Target for $40 for only $10 (which I was shopping around for something similar). It felt kind of grimey, I wish the selection was larger, but it is a small place. I love thrift stores - but this def wasn't my favorite. I might give it another shot if I'm nearby, but for my first visit I was underwhelmed. I would say definitely check it out if you're looking for cheap furniture, or cheap clothes."
