"I purchased 30 items at 19:01:11 for a total of $168.17. I told the cashier to place ALL of my items inside my plastic mop bucket & then put that inside my DG bag because I did NOT want to use their yellow flimsy, easily-ripped low quality merchandise bags from the cashier. He started to put my items in bag yellow bag & I stopped him. I told him to MAKE SURE he moves the items into my bucket. He agreed & said he did. I placed the big DG bag of items in my locked SUV & went next door to Food Lion to buy groceries. When I got around to emptying my DG bag at home, I quickly realized 7 items were missing, which totalled $59.89. I've tried calling the store's phone # several times, but NO ONE answers the phone & there's NO answering machine or service to leave a message for the DG Store Manager. I WILL be waiting at their front door when they're supposed to reopen tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM on Sunday. This is only the 2nd time I've been in their store & probably the last. It took TOO LONG to find my items because their shelves & inventory are a MESSY NIGHTMARE & now I have to waste more time going back to complain about $59.89 in 7 missing items & no ability to reach someone on the phone OR leave them a message to look for a yellow bag of missing merchandise that I've already paid them for!!!! At this point, I would honestly warn you to shop somewhere else than this DG."

"I’m rating Dollar General, though the guy who appears to be the manager seems polite enough I still hate walking in there and the cashier editwho is outside by the entrance smoking, follows behind me with a cloud of smoke like I'm bothering their chain smoke break. Anddd they're always stocking every time I go in there and have their trays of boxes everywhere blocking isles, it's a very unwelcoming store. Corporate really really needs to come clean up the whole crew management and store. The store itself is outdated, tight in space, just not an appealing place to shop at but why? With all the money this store generates from people who go there to avoid big chain stores, why could they not remodel their locations a tad? And true enough I only go cause there's no other choices near home for quick needs avoiding Walmart and over priced Food Lion for little every day things, guess I’m complaining just cause, because I doubt they’ll ever change"

"It's a small Dollar General. Nothing too exciting but decent if you just need to grab something quickly. The employees have always been friendly. However, the fact that they will stand in front of the store smoking is a BIG reason not to go to this specific location. The one on Cedar Rd. is larger and a bit more put together."
