"Eating here before got to say the food was quite delicious rich environment, polite staff, good place to kick back for a beer and some laughs. Enjoy the environment so much so I put in an application. Ended up going there for an interview and wound up working three hours was called by the manager and told her don’t know why we had you working. You were only here for an interview And I told him I understand I had let them know I was there for an interview someplace tend to have people to see their experience was told by the cook there that she enjoyed my attitude and demeanor, and then was told by the manager in charge to give him my availability so they could try to get me situated on the schedule Been playing cat and mouse since what a bummer was definitely looking forward to working in such a cool place. It’s definitely a shame they seem to be playing games with the hiring process."

"First time here and loved it- definitely will be back. So nice inside and all of the food is homemade and fresh. Even the fries are cut in house! The one who prepared our food, Richard, came to the table and actually spoke to us about the food beforehand and its preparation. He made very good recommendations and made us feel at home! :)) give him a raise! He’s the best! Hospitality at its finest. Good priced food as well."

"Must say this is definitely a place you want to come back to. The service was amazing. I was served fast and with a smile. The food was not only really good but affordable. Reading through some of the other reviews I am appalled. People who complain about tipping are the ones who don't tip. 20% added to your check is nothing for the work the girls have to do to, you try making $2.13 an hour depending on tips to pay your bills and have people not tip or complain about having to. Don't go out if you can't tip. Food great service great"

"Nice stuff, atmosphere and customer service ❗BUT❗ Looks like this place tries to take tips twice taking advantage of the inattention of tipsy customers. For some reason they add 20% gratitude. It is not okay. This is not an additional option to pay extra tips but a manipulation and a trick. Please be careful and check your receipt."

"Love champs my fiancé and i have been coming here since we moved to VA beach last year. The bartenders are so nice and the food is always good! They have great breakfast, lunch and dinner literally some of everything. Also great price for the area!"
