"My daughter and I decided to try this restaurant; it was our first experience with Korean Hot Pot and BBQ. We were nervous about all the options and mechanics, but Emilyn was exceptionally patient and walked us through each step. She made this a wonderful experience! The food was good. I appreciate that they consistently change the charred grill for a fresh one. Applying the sauces as the food cooks makes all the difference. We weren't really a fan of the hot pot, but it was ok. I loved the decor. This is definitely a splurge; I wouldn't come on a routine basis, but it was a fantastic experience. I did find it unusual that they automatically apply an 18% gratuity; especially if you don't receive excellent service. Fortunately, Emilyn was wonderful."

"First go to gogi guys same style korean bbq but way better. Most of the meat and fish we received was frozen not cold but actually frozen food on both of our orders. The meat that we were able to cook was fatty and low quality which is not good if they say they will weigh left overs and charge more. The house sauce is just gochujang water down and soaked in the meat leaving flavor to be desired, good news it was not frozen though. The sauce bar had many items unfortunately the cakes were stale. 30$ a person for food that you feel forced to eat, not eating because you enjoy it. I have eaten at several of these places and changing the grill is quiet common however by the end of the meal our grill was completely black. Service was not great even though they automatically add 18% to every check. 0/10 will not return. Pictures are of the frozen solid food we received."

This restaurant is an all you can it and it is just that. There are many food options and the combinations are endless. Everything is clean and organized with clear signage on what each item is. You won’t be disappointed coming to Hot Pot 757 Chesapeake!"
