"Want some good old Southern home cooking? This is the place to go! Everything is made to order, so be prepared to get a nice drink at the bar and vibe with the people at your table. My family visited for my cousins birthday. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. The loaded baked potatoes, crabe cakes, and green with turkey had everybody dancing in their seats. Lol. That's how you know it was good. There was also music trivia and trivia to engage with on the TV, which was very entertaining. My aunt loves this place so we will definitely return again soon!"

"I got our food delivered through DoorDash. My next visit, I will be sitting inside! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This was my first time getting good from GEORGE RESTAURANT. The food was IMMACULATE!!! We ordered the Loaded Baked Potato with Chicken, and Seared Fresh Atlantic Salmon, Baked Mac & Cheese, and Creamy Mashed Potatoes. ALL OF IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD. This was the best food I’ve had in a very long time! We don’t live far from here, so our food was still warm when we got it, but we warmed it up because we like our food hot. The seasonings, peppers, sauce, chicken, and onions in the baked potato all came together with such a wonderful taste. I wish there had been more potato in it, but the overall taste was delicious! The baked Mac and cheese was baked flawlessly. I didn’t taste the mashed potatoes (my husband demolished them before I could lol), but I’m sure they were awesome. The pineapple tea tasted exactly like the name, and the Shirley Temple was refreshing, bubbly, and sweet. Thank you for the wonderful food Chef Young! (01/20/2024) Got the Bread Pudding! "I once gave a place that I loved a bad review because of a bad situation. Well after having a real good conversation with one of the managers Tammy, I was able to change my stance. I first heard about the place for a Bobby Brown interview when he came to town. Well I came in tonight and I was WONDERFULLY greeted and served by Pre, her RADIANT personality really had me at sick ease that I had to have a drink and some of those FABULOUS SALMON BITES. Thanks again GEORGE'S for welcoming me back with open arms"

"Nice place, went here on karaoke night which was wednesday last night . The judges didn't judge the performance right . IT was people that were singing really good and got low numbers .Food was wonderful , but they dropped the wings on the floor they had to make some more. Food pricey I spent almost 70 dollars after I paid my bill the waitress tells us where going to have to move ,and try to find somewhere else to sit . The place was packed I feel that was rude when you should have never sat us at that table . So we stood up and before we could put a tip on the table the waitress says "oh no tip ? Once I heard her say that I really left out you where rude and you was unorganized very unprofessional very unpleasant I will never recommend this place to anyone"

"Gorge's is cool. The crowd skews a bit older, but I had a good time nonetheless. I had the fried shrimp, which was tasty. I tired someone else's lemon pepper wings. They were too salty for my taste, but I'd try another flavor next time. The servers were friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced. A little background music would help while performers are on stage to drown out some of the bar noise."
