"We have been here several times and we’ve had a great experience eating dinner every time. The service is great! Very friendly and kind. The sushi could only be described as a delicacy for any occasion. The presentation… impeccable. Nothing disappointed. My body forced me to continue eating long past the point of being full because the flavors were just IMMACULATE! I will DEFINITELY be back."

"Sushi was so freaking good! I ordered a volcano Maki and spicy taco maki. Ermagherd it was so tasty. The Gyoza was also very good. They have some drink options other than Sake which was nice, and the waitress made me a great long island. Would recommend for sure!"

"First impression: The place needs a good cleaning and some better lighting. Service: Our server was very helpful and nice. The chef even came out and spoke to us to see how our meal was. Food: The house salad dressing was yummy. Miso is boring imo so I won't bother giving you my opinion on Musasi's take on it. We got the smaller of the two boats, and shrimp fried rice. My partner liked the rice, I found it a bit bland and a little oily. The shrimp was cooked well. Overall: I love sushi and I would say this place is just okay. I would still go back and give them another chance because the staff seems to genuinely care. Perhaps it was just an "off" night for them."

"Amazing restaurant in all directions. The fish is very high quality, probably the best I have found in all Hampton Roads. The chef is very skilled and executes with incredible consistency. I live in Virginia Beach, and I make the effort to drive out to get the quality Musasi has. The picture posted of the sushi boat, I ate completely by myself. You get what you pay for, and you will not be disappointed."

"Picked up a to go order, it was just being put together when picked up and driven straight home. Edible, but barely. When you pay $20 a house specialty beef dish and there are barely a handful of pieces between ½ to ¼ inch of meat and rice that has hardened so much it sticks in your teeth like cement it literally leaves a bad taste in your mouth. 2 meals and an order of gyoza that that tastes similar to grocery store freezer food cost $60 and over ½ was thrown in the garbage uneaten. I very rarely write reviews and give the benefit of the doubt in bad experiences but this was not the glowing reviews I had heard from others about here."
