"Hi, former worker here. First and foremost, I suggest you don't order from here. The manager rubs the stains out the smoothie jugs with her bare hands. Everyday I worked I was yelled at for not understanding their heavy accents. From what I've seen working here, they are very unsanitary. I've been scolded for "using gloves for everything" and I was even told stop mopping the lobby everyday. The managers are very rude, especially the old Indian man. He'd push me out the way everytime I tried to do an order and get mad at me and scream at me for not understanding his accent. The owner spoke to me as if I was incompetent and she'd make angry faces at me during training then snatch away the sandwich I was making and do it herself. They are also very racist, I've heard this from other employees of color. The owner Ms Patel would speak to me as if I was a dog and talk to me slowly like I was a child. I suggest you order from the tropical on 21st street instead."
"This is my second time here and it's been consistently pleasant. It's family operated and they are warm and pleasant. They will engage you like a friend they've never met and the energy is spacious and pleasant. The smoothies taste better than the other 4 that I tend to frequent. Prices are solid. I recommend"
"After they messed up my order (mind you I walked there from work and walked back to work before realizing it was wrong so then I had to clock out AGAIN and walk all the way back)… and this was the replacement I was provided. My hand is bigger and I have a very small hand. Absolutely ridiculous, won’t be returning."
"I'm very disappointed in the quality of my food. I ordered a BBQ Shrimp quesidilla today & it looked nothing like one. It was very thin, barely any ingredients inside as if they are stingy with ingredients. It appeared nothing like the photo or either any other real quesidilla I have eaten. I waited an hour to recieve barely any food. I only ate it because I was actually really hungry. I believe employees should take more pride in the way they present food to their customers. Presentation matters ... put more ingredients on ...make mine the same way you would want to eat yours. This was just ridiculous, it was basically flat. Very very upset & STILL HUNGRY."
