"Awesome restaurant. All of the food was amazing and so were the drinks. Very fresh and a nice atmosphere. Our server was also very cool and knowledgeable. He looked out for us even though the chef gave him a hard time. There is an automatic 20% gratuity if your bill is over $100 so just be mindful. Lots of seating but a quiet place. I had the giant shrimp as an appetizer. I also had the peel and eat shrimp and a burger. All were top tier."

"Brine is a hidden gem on H-Street. The restaurant prides itself on high quality ingredients, cooking quality and quality service. Brine hits on all three. Do yourself a favor and check out Brine during Happy Hour (Weekly 5-7PM ET). They offer many options for a discounted price including appetizers and drinks. In a previous visit, I had the Rum Punch which was very tasty and perfect for this recent DC heat wave. You should also try out the ceviche. It’s so fresh and a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Alright, let’s talk about entrees - we highly recommend the Crab Cake Sandwich, Shrimp Po’boy and Crispy Fish Sandwich. All three are served with the crispiest of shoestring fries. If you’re still hungry, Brine offers a key-lime parfait. It’s so good. You may consider ordering another once you finish. The service and staff are quite friendly as well. We can’t wait to come back and see them!"

"From the moment you enter the door your are greeted with warmth and attention. We came with our children for brunch while on vacation for our sons birthday. We ordered individual meals and they were all delicious. The Nantucket scramble was amazing. The Kennebunkport pancakes were divine and ths steak and eggs had a sauce that was a dream. We got some broiled oysters because they have great oysters and they were also excellent. This was one of our favorite meals on our vacation and we will definitely be back on our next visit! Excellent food and service!"

"Lovely brunch spot on H st. The place is cozy, food was awesome. Even the flatware was subtly fish themed. Oysters were so fresh and served in an elevated stand. Our table asked and were able to snag the key lime parfait dessert even though it's only served at dinner. Such service. Had a taste and it was divio. So tart but creamy. My only complaint is that they only had half and half individual creamers for coffee. Spring for a non-dairy variety folks, it's 2023. PS - gratuity is automatically added to the bill. Be sure to check each time you dine since not every place tells you up front."

"Great Sunday brunch spot. Reservations are a good idea. We looked at Resy just before we left the house and there were plenty of tables so we didn’t reserve one. By the time we arrived at the restaurant it was full and we needed to wait about 90 mins to get a spot. The restaurant isn’t huge and it can fill quickly. We waited and it was worth it. We didn’t opt for the bottomless brunch, but maybe next time if we are feeling ourselves. Instead we opted for a dozen oysters, popcorn shrimp (which were really busy full size shrimp), biscuits, and oysters Rockefeller. The brunch cocktails were all solid. Service was good. We will be back."
