"The pizza was great! Lots of different choices, 9 choose to order by the slice. The crust was perfectly crispy and the pizza itself not too heavy. 1 slice is definitely enough for one person, but if you want to try more than one flavor you'll definitely have leftovers. I will definitely be back!"

"Highly recommend going here. They welcomed our party of 20+ in with open arms at the last minute after another Italian restaurant told us last minute that they couldn't accommodate our group. "I really hate to do this but enough is enough!! I’ve been supporting this business for four years now and I hate that it has fallen off! We spent so much money here (Family of 10) and never complained. We mostly use their online service now and use the delivery method. Obviously we pay a little more with the delivery fee but no problem. I’m so upset because my last 4 pizza orders have been horrible. I just ordered today and this will be my last time. The taste and the look is unbelievable. Like how did we get here??!!?? There was smudge of cheese lol and it was burnt, the crust was so thick!! It’s giving Little Caesars VIBES!!! Now I have to find a new pizza parlor!!"

"The only reason I didn’t give Brooklyn Pizza Authority five stars is because I believe there is always room for improvement. However, this place had some of the best pizza I have had down here in Virginia. I was born and raised in Massachusetts, where there is a high concentration of Italians. If one thing has disappointed me since moving to Virginia, it’s the cheap, generic pizza you get even from small local pizzerias. Brooklyn Pizza Authority is different. I can’t comment on how authentic it is as I have never been to Brooklyn, but the pizza tasted the same as the pizza I had in New Jersey and that I grew up eating back home. From what I understand, New York, New Jersey, and Boston pizza is similar, so I am going to assume that if this pizza weren’t authentic, it was pretty close. The crust was the perfect thickness and consistency, crispy on the bottom but still squishy in the middle. To quote Dave Portnoy, zero flop! The cheese had the perfect flavor, neither being too salty or not salty enough. The pizza came out of the oven piping hot and a day later I am still feeling the burn on the roof of my mouth, but that’s what I get for not letting it cool down. The slices were huge, and the prices were reasonable. I spent only a little over thirty dollars, including the tip, for a 18” pizza and four drinks. The guy working the oven, who I’m assuming was the owner, is from New York City, and he was incredibly friendly to both my son and I. The inside was a little small for my liking, but was clean and generally comfortable. In my experience, as far as decent New York style pizza in or around Richmond goes, you only have two choices: Brooklyn Pizza Authority and Benny’s. I will definitely be coming back."
