"Defeated. This would be the title of this post if such a title existed. This would be the third time since December I've had my vehicle at the dealership to be diagnosed where severe and constant issues are known. Between fluctuating high RPMs for no apparent reason (2500 RPM on slight downhill), to sluggish start, to performance issues, to the vehicle shaking at moderate to high speed, to vibrations that can be felt throughout the car and into the seat where the passenger seat violently shakes due to an unknown exhaust or other issue (All 4 tires, Brand New, Less than a week to just prove it wasn't the tires).The vehicles fuel is constantly lean, and a grinding noise from the catalytic converters can be heard when pulling from a dead stop where the noise will echo off nearby buildings. The exhaust, while cruising, will have a low growl that will vibrate through the car and into the steering wheel. A technician drove the vehicle for 50 miles, the vehicle is perfectly fine, and the dealerships computer says everything is in normal range. In summary: If you're having vehicle concerns and it appears it's a major issue, even if safety related. Unless there's a check engine light don't waste your time. My own data which showed the Bank 1 and Bank 2, sensor 2 was stuck. However, I was notified that the car was in perfect order. If something like this was looked over. What else could have been as well. The lack of a check engine light does not mean something is not wrong. There's no other possible scenario for this, with the exception of inexperienced or overworked mechanics who are unable to give the appropriate amount of attention to vehicles needing to be given a thorough inspection. But aside from having preventative maintenance done on the vehicle, while hoping it doesn't get worse, what do you do. __________________________________________ Update: I was able to take the vehicle to a completely different dodge dealership for a second opinion. Upon inspection, my center bearing support was found to have excessive wear, where the rubber boot was almost ripped off the middle bearing, which is where my vibration was coming from. A seriously bad issue had it completely failed. This was short visit for the vibration, I'll be making additional appointments in the future to have everything looked over."
