"It gets three stars because the female manager is hellish. I thought she was just rude and unprofessional to her employees, but turns out she's rude to customers as well. I have no clue how she's allowed to work there despite everyone actively disliking her. I would avoid her if possible. It's a shame because the college aged employees that work there are very friendly and smart, and they deserve better then to work under her. Outside of that, the place is clean and well kept. It has a pleasant atmosphere when she isn't busy screaming at people."

"I believe the prices for textbooks is WAY too expensive. You can find the same books elsewhere and they’re a lot cheaper. You would atleast think they would give you something back for bringing the book back on time and in good condition considering the price you pay to have the book for 5 MONTHS. Also, the customer service isn’t bad among the associates, but the manager is very rude. You can be talking to her and she will cut you off. Then she’ll ask something that would’ve been answered if she had been more polite. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with her and always regret having to talk with her when an issue arises or I need to rent a book. I know we’re college kids and older people can dislike us, but we’re people as well and don’t deserve to be treated that way. Especially if we’re being respectful."

"The assistant manager Keith is awesome. He helped me get a textbook and get my ETEXT account set up when I could get help no where else. Awesome customer service. I had been trying for weeks to figure out how to access the Pearson ETEXT. THANK YOU!!!"

"Their textbooks ain’t a scam. Textbooks at other universities and colleges are the same prices because I gone into Harvard, MIT, and Boston Colleges’ bookstores. It is a great community college for the following reasons: 1. Save money 2. Screwed up in High School and can’t get in a 4 year school. 3. Get an education to stay up to date with the work force. These are great reasons and NOVA is here to serve..."

"Nice campus. The Student Services building is a "one-stop" building where students can do everything from Admissions to Counseling to Student ID to Placement Testing. The staff is very efficient but plan on waiting awhile because the place is busy. Be aware not to park in the 'A' lot as that is for staff and faculty only. Use the 'B' lot. (Although, one does have to ask why the staff and faculty get upfront parking and the students have the back parking?)"
