About the Business

Odd BBQ

Odd BBQ is a cozy, yet innovative food institution located at 4520 Daly Drive in Chantilly, Virginia. Specializing in BBQ meals for takeaway or dine-in, Odd BBQ offers a unique dining experience with a limited menu that showcases the culinary skills of former Sous Chefs Susan and Nick. Starting their journey in 2017, the duo has transformed a small space inside Ono Brewing Company into a hub for delicious BBQ dishes.

Upon arrival, guests can park anywhere and head inside to place their order at the order counter. Once your order is placed, you will receive a pager to notify you when your meal is ready. Feel free to have a seat inside or outside while you wait for your pager to light up and vibrate, signaling that your meal is ready for pickup at the service window.

Despite its limited space and equipment, Odd BBQ continues to impress patrons with their flavorful BBQ creations. The maximum carryout order size is 10 individual meals or $200, or 5 pounds of meat (sides not included). Large orders can be accommodated with advance notice, but not all requests may be accepted.

To reach the team at Odd BBQ, guests can leave a voicemail, send an email, or message them on Google, Facebook, or Yelp. With the support of their loyal patrons, Odd BBQ hopes to expand their offerings and continue to delight customers with their unique BBQ dishes.

"Delicious! We have been all over the country for BBQ. Stopped here while in town buying a car. Extremely impressive. The baked beans were the best I have ever had. The cheese biscuit is very good in concept but I found it a bit dry/overbaked. Otherwise, everything was excellent. And the prices were extremely fair. Great!!"

"Great addition to Ono. Pour your own beers and expertly crafted BBQ. If you're looking to fill up without a huge bill, I recommend the biscuit sandwiches. Chicken thighs are bountiful, smokey and the sauces abound. Nothing better on the weekend than good BBQ and a craft beer. It's tucked back into another nondescript industrial plaza, but worth winding your way there."

"Really enjoyed the brisket. Thick cut with the right amount of fat. The potato salad was great (if you like mustard base). The ONO self pour brewery was great too. Quick friendly service and a relaxing environment."

"Odd BBQ is a BBQ joint located inside of Ono Brewery in Chantilly, VA. My fiance and I didn't come with the intention to eat here but we were surrounded by delicious-looking food. After ordering, they gave us a buzzer to notify us when the food was ready. My fiance enjoyed the Chopped Pork Sandwich, which was served on a brioche bun with pickles and slaw. I wanted a cheesy biscuit but they were sold out for the day. I enjoyed the Smoked Pork Belly Plate with Seasoned Rice, Baked Beans, and Mac N' Cheese (even though I ordered the Macaroni Carrot Salad). I liked how the pork belly was tender and flavorful with or without the Red BBQ or Vinegar BBQ sauce. The seasoned rice consisted of jasmine rice topped with a dash of sweet soy sauce and coated with rice seasoning. I liked how the baked beans were cooked with smoked pork belly. The Macaroni N' Cheese was rich and creamy."

"Everyone in my group love this place, but it wasn't all that for me. I received really nice service at the restaurant portion, and not-so-great service on the bar side. The concept is pretty novel and unique, you get a card and you dispense your own beer which is convenient and easy. However, you can't just use any credit card you have to use their card which requires an additional, and you have to return it at the end of your night. That said, when you start pouring your beers the tab rolls up really quick, ultimately I would say a regular pint comes out to be about $8."
