"On 5 Jan 2024 at around 7 pm, my wife and I went out for date night and my wife's birthday dinner. When we walked in to Zandra's in Haymarket and a waitress told my wife and I to sit at the 4 top table. After we were seated, the male hostess told us we couldn't sit there because there was a waiting list. We gathered our things and waited by the door to be seated again. A few minutes later he came back and sat my wife and I at our original table. The general manager came to the table and asked what we were drinking and brought us 3 samples of beer. We were talking to our waitress placing our beer and dinner order when the male hostess came back to our table and asked us to move to a smaller table. He wanted to seat a party of 3 people at the table where he had seated us. At this point we decided to leave instead of playing musical tables for the entire evening. As we left the General Manager asked why we were upset saying "you just walked in". We reminded him that he had served us sample beers and he commented it has been a busy night. We went to another restaurant and spent the $100 we planned on spending at Zandra's. I guess the restaurant didn't need our money or business."
"Terrific food! I’ve eaten here twice and I’m a bit blown away by how good everything is - super fresh ingredients and a creative menu! And let me just add, I’m a foodie and I’m picky. So cheers to excellent tacos!"
"Super cute spot for lunch! We weren’t over the moon with the service, especially on a quiet weekend. They seemed more occupied with gossiping around the table next to us than serving the whole two tables they had at the time. The saving grace was the tacos were actually pretty decent."
"We've been here a few times now and keep forgetting to take pictures because the food looks and smells so good that we immediately start eating! Best, delicious, unique taco place yet! Many different options and every one has been amazing. we've tried fried chicken, Brussel sprouts, Carne asada, and gyro. The boxes come with a ton of food and as other reviews have said, the three tortillas are not enough! their salsa also tatses homemade and got a nice kick. highly recommend."
