"I am an avid birkenstock wearer and was thrilled to find an authorized repair center right in boardman. I was worried I'd have to either get a new pair (which is wasteful) or send them states away for repair. My bostons were getting a little thin in the sole so I took them in for a resole. Turn around was a week and a half, the cost was only half the price of a new pair. I was delighted when he showed me my completed shoes, idk how he did it, but they look brand new! I'm beyond thrilled to be able to keep loving and wearing my shoes. If you wear birks you know how comfortable they are once broken in, and that's not something you want to let go of. Plus, the less new leather i can go through the better (both for sustainability and the cows)I'll be taking all my birks to Tesones from now on!"

I went to “Johns Shoe and Boot Repair” about two miles from Tesone’s And I asked him could he repair the zipper on my boot that was splitting, he sent me away saying there’s nothing that can be done so I went here because I was determined; and I didn’t understand how a splitting zipper was beyond repair? She literally diagnosed it in 3 seconds, I told her I needed it by Friday and left, she simply put a new slider on and called me back to pick it up within the hour! It works like new, no splitting no sticking! And it looks good! Amazing service! $100 dolls kill boots and my weekend saved after the first location in my google results told me it was impossible. "I bought two pairs of second hand Frye boots. Both needed to be polished and stretched in the calf. One pair had an issue with the left boot. The stitching was digging into my heel so bad I couldn't stand to have it on for one minute. I took them to Tesone's and explained what I needed. Within a week, I picked them up. One pair stretched perfectly but the other needed a second stretching along with more work on the heel. I was not charged for the second stretching nor the heel repair. When I picked them up for the second time , they fit perfectly, the heel issue was completely resolved! Carmen and Rose are both super great people who take pride in their work. The price was more than reasonable too! I highly recommend Tesone's!"

"I took three pairs of Allen Edmonds to Tesone's hoping to get a couple extra years out of these dress shoes. My shoes were pretty beat up after daily wear in six years of Youngstown's always changing weather. Tesone's replaced two soles (which were rare and hard to find), shined and polished all three pairs, and even went out of their way to find matching replacement shoelaces (which I needed). All for an extremely reasonable price. My dress shoes are as good as new -- they look just like they did (and perhaps better than) when I bought them six years ago. I will be bringing these to Tesone's much more regularly. Amazing work, great customer service, outstanding price. Could not recommend this local business highly enough."

"This is our "go to" shoe repair store for my wife and I. Everyone is polite, professional and most importantly knowledgeable. I actually had people comment on my new shoes when all I did was have Carmen put new soles and heals on my shoes. We live in Calcutta, Ohio and it is well worth the 30 minute drive.A few years ago Carmen repaired and replaced old rawhide lacing on my fathers a 70 plus year old baseball glove and I gave it to my since deceased father on his 97th birthday and he swelled with pride and started reminiscing........thanks Carmen!"
