"Went to purchase a few items for my new cell phone. I had a few questions. I could not find an associate at all on the floor. I looked around and several other customers had the same issue. Apparently customer service to them is just ringing out your items and nothing about helping you find the items you need. Retailers complain about people using online retailers over a brick and mortar store, maybe if you provided any sort of true customer service and assistance people would still purchase at a local retailer"
"It's seldom that anyone behind the customer service counter knows how the Best Buy check out computer works. Over the past five the level of knowledge of any product by the customer service is all but non existent. The staff acts like they are doing the customer a favor. I would give it one star if that isn't the trend."
"I received AMAZING service from Kyle D. I went into the store attempting to learn more about 65” TVs and soundbars. Kyle was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about both, and I felt incredibly lucky to have him explaining things to me in a way that is easily understandable. I never felt like Kyle was “selling” to me. His subtly confident approach, which comes from a deep knowledge and passion of his product, is worth more than any advertising Best Buy could afford. Not only is Kyle a knowledgeable and reliable source, he asked me intelligent questions to better understand what I was looking for and he reframed my feedback to confirm he understood what I was trying to convey. I felt heard and understood - which is key to any interaction! Not just sales. The service Kyle provided is equivalent to the same service my parents received from the small town, local tv store way back when. I genuinely try to avoid large corporations (sorry Best Buy), but whenever I’m in the market to purchase something else, I will seek Kyle out specifically."
"If you’re wondering why some big box stores aren’t surviving, head on over to this Best Buy. Although the store was largely empty, there were plenty of employees. However, none were apparently able to assist. Waited in the checkout line for over 15 minutes as only 1 of 2 people in line. The checkout line has been removed and merged with the store pickup and customer service for added confusion."
