"I have been going to this place since January 2021. My first counselor Tom was lovely. I enjoyed him. His treatment plans were good and I felt like we were going somewhere as far as getting me better. Then they switched my counselor who I also love as well he’s perfectly fine. Treatment plan is good, but my main issue is with Brenda Ritz. She does not listen. She doesn’t take into consideration the effects of what medication is my have on her patients in additio Attitude when you ask about side effects or any other effects that the medication might have, she blamed me for complaining about the medication and stated that she would not help me with my bipolar disorder in her own words. She told me there’s nothing she can do. There’s nothing she could tell me just keep seeing my counselor, Michael. I find it absolutely egregious that a certified board nurse practitioner has no regard for the safety or welfare of her patients. I find it egregious that she finds it so quick to prescribe medication and not disclose any information about it does not tell you the right side effects, and in my opinion does not really care about the patients. I believe that she needs to be reported to the board and have her license yanked and I think they need to launch an investigation against her and all her clientele files to make sure that no one else is suffering like I am Psycare really needs to update work with her nurse practitioners in the safety of their clientele or their patients."

"My counselor Terri and nurse practitioner Brenda have been very kind, helpful and professional to me since I've been going there. The receptionists have been great too. Everyone there has been a joy to see and talk to. Would definitely recommend."

"I had to go elsewhere to get the help that I need. I am at Meridian now, and finally got the help that I needed. The complaints that I have are the caseworker didn't do what they needed to do to get me food from a pantry (she kept telling me to call this one place to make an appointment and I always had to leave a message and they never called me back), she failed to get my payeeship transferred over, I was in the process of moving and needed financial assistance (she had me look up who I needed to contact, and MYCAP is the only one who does this and they refused to help), and she kept blaming everyone for her mistakes, basically she had me do all of the leg work, plus the nurse practitioner (psychiatrist) tends to treat people like they are children and she didn't sign a medical document for school to avoid needing to pay YSU almost $1,500, telling me I can't go back to school for 3 years (which I found was false) and they can't touch me as long as I am on disability, as a result I was turned over to both the Attourney General and collections and taken a huge hit on my credit, I dropped out due to a couple of suicide attempts. Now my needs have been met. I am finally free from Valley Counseling's bad payeeship program, and the caseworker at Meridian takes me to a food pantry when needed, and my form has been filled out and now I don't have to pay a cent to YSU."

"Staff and Nurse Practitioner are the rudest people I have encountered in a very long time!!! The very first time I spoke to Brenda (Nurse Practitioner) she told me to seak help elsewhere because I was not comfortable with the medications she put me on! She was rude, confrontational, unprofessional, judgemental, and down right nasty to me as a patient!! She definitively should NOT be in the mental health field. If I could give them a lower rating than a 1 I would! Do not go to this facility unless you are prepared to be treated inhumane!!"

"I have been there for a good friend though the years and now realize that mental health system in this country stinks. It is a failure. Get use to rude staff and therapist. Most of these receptionist are ugly inside and out. It is just a check for them. Therapist are the same way. This is the reason many don't seek help."
