"I can't say enough about Dr. K - but I'll try to summarize the main points in this review! I went to her as I was really struggling and having a difficult time in both my professional and personal life (one of those "everything is falling apart" moments), and after having a few thorough sessions and going through a bit of what had led me to this point, she was the FIRST medical professional to diagnose me with ADD. As a 35 year-old at the time, I was completely shocked and also honestly skeptical - No, I was just a creative type, artsy, maybe a bit absent-minded, forgetful, introspective, dreamy...all these labels I'd had since a little kid...  after being diagnosed and even early days on medication I was still skeptical but honestly, once I was able to see the difference of how the world could have been up to that point, it was a MAJOR shift in my life. This wasn't my first foray into seeking professional assistance in my life; as a teen, a young adult in college, etc. Now this will come down to what type of interaction you're looking for, but I'd reached a point in my life where I wanted a bit more guidance and straight-forwardness. The stereotype of "and how did that make you feel?" type of therapy is a stereotype for a reason. After our first session, I knew I'd found a gem- she was so attentive, engaged and active - she truly helped me cut through the fluff and get to the heart of what was troubling me. So here I was, dealing with being a woman with an ADD late diagnosis, as well as being in a toxic relationship- and she truly was a lifeline for me. I've since moved overseas, which even during that transition she was an amazing advocate for me to get out of my comfort zone and to take some chances, no matter the outcome. I can say that my time with her was a catalyst- I've come much more into my own and also become an advocate for myself and possibly others with ADD in my personal and professional life. She was a life-saver. I can't imagine how I'd have navigated successfully through that pivotal time without her guidance and support. Dr. K is the best!"

"Dr. Kimmel is full of wisdom and very professional. I always considered myself a positive person until I was lost in life. Dr. Kimmel took her time to guide me back to be a stronger person. I still remember my first visit with her. Within an hour, she already identified several traits about me that I weren't aware. The most amazing thing is that she could tie dots, which seem to be remotely related, into something that is absolutely right. She showed that to me many times for both past and current events. "Today is April 9, 2018 and after 38 years of life and most recently 36 doctors appointments since November 3, 2017, I talked with Dr. Kimmel on the phone once and then had my initial appointment. She asked me a ton of questions on the phone and asked me to explain my issues and symptoms. On my first visit we talked and she reviewed my questionnaire and diagnosed me with ADD. EVERYRHING she said even about my pass that she had no idea of was right on point. Nevertheless, I already had an appointment with a psychiatrist the next week who also reinforced her diagnosis without having any knowledge of my visit with her at the time.
