BCC Pediatric Dentistry

"We had an outstanding first visit at BCC Pediatric Dentistry with our 3 year old. The office was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our daughter loved the fish tank in the lobby and it kept her occupied while we waited to be seen. Once we sat down in the dentist chair, there were a few toys for her to hold to feel more comforted (or distracted). Dr. Shins friendly face popped in and our daughter was very comfortable with her. Dr. Shin had songs for each “procedure” wheels on the bus for cleaning, another song for flossing, and the ABC song for counting her teeth. It was all so thoughtfully done. After the visit, she thoroughly explained everything to us while our daughter played with the arcade claw machine. We went home with lots of goodies in a bag. It was a very pleasant experience for all, but most important, we felt very comfortable with Dr. Shin, her team and the level of experience. We know our daughter will be excited to return. We highly recommend this practice and Dr. Shin!"

"I am obsessed with Dr. Shin. She’s obviously brilliant and fabulous with kids but her practice is like a teeth-themed amusement park. Everything is pink! There is a tiny claw machine for the kids to get prizes! There are lollipops and ice pops (sugar free) and a gorgeous fish tank and TVs everywhere and walking balloons and, let me tell you, this was not my experience growing up with the kind but deeply pragmatic Dr. Henry Waxman. Her staff is so kind and helpful. We had a little emergency and they always fit us right in. Highly recommend!"

"I couldn’t be more impressed. We received a tour as soon as we arrived. First, the office itself is decorated beautifully, each room even has its own color theme. Next, my son got to pick his favorite Netflix movie to watch while he got his teeth cleaned, so he was totally relaxed. He was also given a blanket and a pillow for under his knees to make him feel more comfortable. He also got a blue ice pop when he was done with his cleaning because he didn’t enjoy the taste of fluoride. On our way out, we got a bag of goodies (electric toothbrush, tongue cleaner, and even balloons!) and 4 tokens to use in the arcade room. The dentist went over all of my son’s history with me and plans for his future dental work while he went to the arcade. On top of all of this, everyone we interacted with was VERY friendly and professional. Great experience, highly recommend!"

"I was beyond impressed with BCC Pediatric Dentistry when I took my two and a half year old to the dentist for the first time. The design and decor alone had me wow’ed (adorable pink Glam theme and extremely well done!) but more importantly, the check in and wait was super quick and easy, and my daughter was welcomed with a child friendly tour and a blow up unicorn and balloon all to relax her into getting her teeth checked and cleaned. She has not let my husband or I put a toothbrush near her teeth (we try everything!!). However, the amazing pediatric dentist and her staff had my daughter opening her mouth on cue and nailed the pediatric concerns spot on!! I will definitely be taking my daughter back as well as my baby boy when he’s old enough for the dentist!"
