Park Lane at Garden State Park

"DO NOT MOVE HERE. I am not usually one to leave a bad review, however I would not want anyone else to get stuck in the situation I am in. Paying an astronomical amount in rent for an apartment that looks beautiful at first glance but upon living in was clearly a building that was built as quickly, cheaply, and poorly as possible. I moved into one of the new buildings as soon as it opened. I had no wifi for my first 5 weeks living here because the building was improperly wired. This required maintenance to come into my apartment, after my begging for help for 3 weeks, rip everything out of my closet and cut holes in my wall to feed the wires. They then had to repair the giant hole which left me with spackle dust all over my closet and belongings. Shortly thereafter I was accused of making noises so I had to undergo a “noise inspection” which meant one building manager made me vacuum my floors while she watched and another manager stood in the apartment below me to listen. I live in this apartment alone, leave for a full time job every day, don’t exercise in the apartment, and make no noise beyond laundry and vacuuming. I was told I could not do either of those things after 9pm and I needed to wear shoes at all times to absorb the sound. Luckily, I live on the top floor, but I can imagine how loud the other floors may be if my foot steps are causing a disruption. The building is built so poorly that all the sound travels, including the front doors which slam and shake the entire floor. Lastly, so far, the ceilings/walls/windows leak when it rains. This apartment is a catfish, it is brand new and beautiful at first glance, but it is truly not worth even half of what I am paying in rent so I cannot urge you enough to not move here."

"The park lane rental office is beautiful and the staff there are professional, friendly and truly go above and beyond. I haven't encountered anyone- from the concierge to maintenance and management- who hasn't been more than willing to provide assistance at anytime. Katie in leasing was particularly helpful with providing information and making herself available to tenants. The time and attention provided by the staff here is top rate. Well done!!"

"I went on a tour of the property with Kerrin. The place is elegant and very secure. The clubhouse is very relaxing. Nature and good landscaping. I was so comfortable touring with Kerrin. We chatted and laughed and paused and walked and chatted and laughed and toured. Such a good connection have a good sense of hospitality. The rooms are new. I looked for basic things such as wall AC outlet in the balcony and they have it. Other properties don’t think about that. I will definitely apply. Thanks Kerrin! Keep smiling."

"We have been living there for a couple of months. The staff is amazing and accommodating. We are lucky to live in this community. The residents are very pleasant and nice to talk to. The front desk staff are the nicest people we have met. Comparing to other places we looked at, this place by far is the best and the staff is the most courteous. Nichelle is AWESOME!!!! She helped us a lot and she also checked on us during the first few weeks to make sure we are happy in our new home. We could not have asked for a better apartment, staff, and residents. We are lucky to be here."

"Every concierge member has been super friendly, welcoming, helpful, polite. Community acitivities every month, clubhouse is beautiful and clean always, gym, tennis court, playground…the pool is our favorite to sit and relax by. Location and concierge is why we chose to live here…within walking distance of lots of shops, restaurants, Wegmans, parks, etc. Very pet friendly community as well."
