"Beware! At our initial visit I was very impressed with this company. The staff at the Boardman location were very nice and seemed extremely knowledgeable. We found a hardwood floor that we loved and they sent a crew out to measure our floors to be redone and we decided to purchase from them. When they were tearing out our old floors they called stating that they didn't realize there was tile in our closet and bathroom and it would be an extra 400 and some dollars for removal. The bathroom floors were covered with floating floor so that was understandable, however, the closet floor was not covered with anything and was clearly visible at the initial visit so they should not have charged extra for that, being it was their mistake. When they began to install the treads for the stairs the subcontractors noticed that the wrong wood had been ordered and had to be reordered. When the new treads came they still did not look right but we were assured it was the right wood. Upon completion of the stairs, the sides of the stair treads were not finished and unfinished wood was left exposed. I tried to communicate this to the worker (who spoke no English) but all they could do was make a phone symbol with their hands and say call LL. LL flooring stated that "they were not used to having stairs that needed finished that way" and it would cost more for the side pieces. Again THEIR mistake not ours. I'm not sure how a flooring company is not used to seeing different types of stairs and our stairs are normal stairs with a hand rail, nothing fancy or abnormal. They are the professionals and should have owned up to their mistake and covered that cost. Again, when the side pieces came they did not match the floors or the stairs but we were assured they were right. Once everything was on you could clearly tell that they did not match the flooring or the treads. So at the end of the job, the stairs don't match the floors, and the side pieces don't match the stairs or the floors. We called to have them fix it and were basically told it was our responsibility per the contract to inspect everything before it went up, which we did but were assured it was right. This company has a lot of little ways to scam people and put the blame on the customer (who are not professional contractors). They sub out to another company that sends workers that you can't even communicate with (nothing against those guys either they did a beautiful job for what it's worth). I just really wish there were more honest businesses out there that own up to their mistakes, because LL flooring is definitely not one of them."

"Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Service was great at the location but installing is another issue. Floors creak after installation and pieces of molding are falling off after a few months after installation. Save your money and go with professional installers. They charged for so many extra unnecessary parts and didn't even use them. Called to see if they will check out all the creaking floors and received no response. Stay away."

"Purchased a lot of flooring had their installers come out and put it in . They did a terrible job. The floor looked very bad. I tried getting help from them for over a year, calling just about every day. Finally they sent somebody out to fix it. He did a terrible job. so I hired my own contractor and gave up on them. They ruined what should’ve been a good experience"

"Professional flooring installer. Specifically one who has attention to detail in the prep and following manufacture installation guidelines. I’ve install almost all the main brand luxury vinyl plank flooring sold in stores, show rooms and online with zero issues. I installed 3 different ones from LL Flooring last year per customer request. At first I was convinced it was similar quality but here we are one year later. First call back in my life on all three floors purchased from here. Same issue with all three different colored and thickness flooring. Buckled/splits along the long side of the joints about a 1/4” into the face in random spots. Pretty ridiculous considering there is plenty of room for expansion/contraction and all these floors were flat enough for tile. I believe the root cause is cheap material, your flooring shouldn’t split like that. If it was one or two planks, no problem. I will now have to replace all the flooring free of charge with a brand I know won’t break from normal residential use. Customer will be out another $5k in material plus dump fees. Save your self more money buy purchasing quality products people. Sales people at store were genuinely nice and helpful (hence the 1 star). See last two pictures from install (see expansion gap on wall). Looked amazing but it barely made it past one year."
