"Me and my wife went there to look at a propane cylinder to heat our RV in the winter. The manager Craig Kessler refused to let us even look at a pretty filled propane tank. He informed us the store would close soon when we entered and we politely acknowledge. We were looking at propane adapters when he rudely raised his voice within the store and we heard "come on!" from the front of the store. We both asked if he was in a hurry. He told us we were looking at stuff we didn't even know would work. As we were walking out he said if we have a problem call anyone we want. He also said I could call the owner of the store in which he knows personally. I guess we're in a world where the customer no longer matters. A manager's time must be more important than a retail store selling good people a quality product at all. I would not go to the cornersburg true value for anything due to the customer service me and my fiance experience. A smart true value owner would never let someone like this manage a store, especially one in an area where profits could be large. For sure it costs cornersburg true value lots of sales, which even takes money from the owner's family. There is a handyman supply a few miles from cornersburg true value and their customer service as well as management are polite and helpful every single time."
"If customer service was Life Force, this business would never go out of business They have quite the selection to help you find what you're missing If an issue ever arose, it would be resolved in an instant & they make keys to solve that need in specific"
"I had an item I purchased and had it for 2 weeks and wanted to return it. Management gave me a difficult time and had me call the manufacturer to ask for a return from them because she refused me. There is no return policy posted and I was told it's her discretion. I wouldn't leave without a return. I finally got it but only after she was assured she would get her money for the return. Very poor service and I will never return, but I'm sure that's what she wants. The less of me the better."
"At this Tru Value You DON'T have to walk down there huge aisles just to have an associate tell you "Sorry that's not my department" or listen to that drone "customer assistance needed....." until you want to stick a screw driver in you ear... people will greet you at the door with Hello! And then walk you to the aisle to help with what you need....good place!!"
