"Wow. 14.50 for two delicious bagels! You can’t find prices like this anymore. Both were amazing. The veggie cream cheese is killer and made in store and the BEC was perfect, doesn’t look like a lot of bacon but it’s really good bacon flavorful bacon. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was warm and family friendly."

"Stopped by the Bagel Shop in downtown Herndon on Nov’ 23. I had the Ham and Cheese on Everything Bagel. Sat outside and enjoyed it. Taste was very good, everything bagel had large salt which was just perfect. The bagel sandwich as a whole, it can be viewed as a treatise to an ideal breakfast incorporating bagel, cheese, and ham. That is, a near-perfect combination of protein and healthiness for a first meal of the day. I enjoyed it and ate it slowly and languorously. Savored each bite. Actually tasted the meat (ham or turkey, both are good!), and the bagel, and the salt and seasoning, and even the cheese. This is how an ideal bagel sandwich is meant to be eaten / enjoyed! Savor each bite as if it were the last. This is what makes it worthy to pay out of pocket for a breakfast, especially one you could have easily cooked up yourself! Also I purchased a 6-pack of bagels (everything, have to try other flavors) as well as some cream cheese spreads (chocolate chip and cinnamon something). Liked the CC spread but it’s a bit too sweet / sugary for me. Still great tasting. Not sure of the nutritional content of the bagels, but the everything bagel is pretty spot on. I usually don’t like everything bagels, so when a shop does it right and you start liking everything bagel, that’s when you know they onto something. Overall, awesome breakfast spot in downtown Herndon. I live relatively close by, so I’ll likely be back again. Looking forward to it!"

"My husband and I, and my in-laws, have been longtime patrons of Bagel Cafe. We’ve always enjoyed the food until my husband bit down on a piece of glass tucked away in his Reuben. I immediately called the restaurant to alert them they needed to stop food production to check all food, whether it was getting cooked or waiting at the expo counter to be picked up for dine-in, or for delivery orders. The response I got was asinine. “We have no glass in the restaurant.” What about the glass bottles of soda and various teas/juices sold? Or the glass containers that house the bagels? Or even the glass bulbs in your machinery? Or any glass brought in by staff? My initial concern was that the staff needed to be made aware so they could cease food production to clean kitchen counters and reset their stations. This is beyond negligence. Needless to say, we will never give another dime to this restaurant."

"This was our second time. Our salmon bagels were delicious. Still, the bagels/rolls could have had a bit more salmon on them. The service was not so friendly after both visits."

"The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the money spent! Potatoes were well-seasoned. Bacon was crispy and a little bit overcooked, just like I like it! I feel like the beverages are their short-fall. $6 for a small orange juice is kinda ridiculous. The sweet tea was flavourless. We did find a hair in the food, however, they quickly corrected the issue."
