"I'm the spouse of a patient. I am experienced with the health care system because I have been a chronic illness patient for the past 20 years. From my observation, this practice appears to be primarily concerned with getting paid. Their so-called patient portal apparently does not work. They make you pay upfront instead of running your claims through insurance first and billing you for the remainder. I've had two kidney transplants and not once did I have to pay for any of my procedures UP FRONT. I've encouraged my spouse to look for another practice. The provider he has been seeing (Heidi Cook) seems fine, no complaints there. But the front office needs some serious empathy and customer support training. Or maybe I'm being too harsh. Perhaps there's a drill sergeant in the back instructing everyone in the front office to "BILL BILL BILL!" or they lose their jobs. Maybe a workplace culture change needs to happen."

"One star only. My psychiatrist (Dr. A) is awesome when she can be reached. The office is horrible. They give you the run around when trying to reach your physician. They tell you to use the "Patient Portal" but half the time it doesnt work. Their voice-mail system is always down. Needed to talk to my doctor, sent three emails, contacted office three times to no avail. I wish she was in private practice."

"I saw a therapist (fresh out of school) some years ago, I think I was her first patient ever, and she didn't know anything about how to do therapy; she also had some issues of her own; another one for couples therapy, and a woman who was authorized to write prescriptions although she wasn't a psychiatrist. She kept trying different medications on me like I was some lab experiment, only to make me worse. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. This is a money-making enterprise. Stay away, run as fast as you can."

"I know we go see Doctors for all types of reasons. Psychatrist we as humans may not all need but trust me when you find a good practice and team they can truly make a difference in families lives. I have found that a good Doctor is about the team behind the doctor. Without a good team the doc would not be great or show their brilliance. Hands down greatest front office and kindest doctor staff I’ve met in Northern Virginian. So if you’re looking you won’t go wrong."
