"We had Elmar install three Hitachi mini ductless splits for us in the summer of 2023. The pros of Elmar were that their rates were extremely reasonable when checked against competitors. We had multiple quotes and the quote from Elmar was the lowest by far. The installation crew was also very polite and we are pleased with the install itself. The only con was that prior to booking the job, I asked via email if Elmar could take a look at an HVAC pipe we have disconnected in the attic. They said yes. The day of installation, I reminded the crew twice that it would be great if they could take a look. After the crew left, I realized the issue hadn't been remedied and reached out via email again to thank Elmar for the install and to ask them to look at the pipe. Ultimately, they never responded to that email. Communication was frustrating but we are overall pleased with the work."
